This is a 1080p remastering of what many consider one of the best games ever made, if Xbox Live support is present like previously rumored this game will be well worth a high price.
I hope they fixed the framerate issues with the Asura engine since both Shellshock 2: Blood Trails and Rouge Warrior use it as well and the framerate on those games is terrible!
drummer: Sega released the DreamEye first, they also released a motion controlled fishing rod for the Dreamcast which could also be used to play games like Soul Caliber for instance but like how the Wiimote can.
On the console side of things yes Microsoft would be last since they never had a camera or motion controller for the Xbox but they did have the Live Vision Cam for the 360.
Edit:
Blaze: You can bet that almost every company that is doing ...
Day one!
I still buy PC games from retail, but I'm also open to digital distribution, I only use Steam, Impulse, GFWL, etc if the game is old and can't be found at retail anymore for a good price. When it comes to buying online I tend to "shop around" for deals on those services but the amount of DRM a service provides is also a deciding factor at times, even if it costs a bit more for less DRM.
captain-obvious: Why don't you read the article you're linking to? He is basically saying he doesn't know if 3D Gaming will ever become mainstream but if the consumers want it they will do it.
"I think there's a lot of questions, to be honest," Greenberg told us in a meeting here at CES. "3D is great in the theater, but for the living room? I think we're a long ways away from that."
While the Xbox 360 currently supports 3D with games like Ava...
What does the title have to do with the article? And why does Bruce have a disclaimer at the bottom of the post? Doesn't seem like something he would say given his past posts.
Then you must have been living under a rock since 2006!
You can use the regular MPAA rating systems or localized versions of it, a internal comparison chart can be used for other ratings.
Rebellion never said which team worked on Rouge Warrior.
Regardless, people losing their jobs is never a good thing, just because the higher ups couldn't throw resources the teams way doesn't mean the team should be solely at fault.
Great work all involved with the game!
Where is the DLC at? EA is missing out on a great opportunity here!
Old figures when development costs were around the $20 million mark claimed they needed to sell at least 2 million copies for it to be a worthwhile venture. 500k for most titles may have been acceptable years ago but now for most AAA titles if you don't break 2.5 million it wasn't a good year.
Not every developer will have the marketing budget of Microsoft, Sony, Activision, etc behind them so this is a very frightening proposition. For those trying to close there eyes and pret...
Gears of War 2 or more specifically the second level (where you're on the trucks) had shown a lot going on, the last levels had hordes of locust especially when you get to ride the Brumack. You could tell there were a lot because your "kill count" for the Seriously 2.0 achievement would be going up when you were walking around, shooting randomly, etc and it would only appear when you reached certain milestones.
It also depends on what kind of textures are being displa...
I'd buy it for some of the images and such, especially those alluded to in the post. They were also the first to have the information (I doubt it was cheap) so I'd support them by buying a copy.
I haven't gotten this email and my account rank out in late December, so I assume it must be for really old accounts? If that's the case, would those people actually return to the game? Perhaps they might with the expansions but still.
That title is very damning,
This guy sure lucked out!
You don't need RROD to get your 360 registered by Microsoft, I've registered my 360s online through Microsoft's warranty program, everyone should do it as it helps keep track of where your warranty stands and to protect against just such a thing. This isn't just for Microsoft products but for any product that allows you to register your device online through the company.
The Bioshock engine is a updated version of Unreal 2.5 IIRC.
Possibly, it could also be how the game is entered into their database that they pull the statistics from?
DJ: Who said Sony was brought in? SEGA has had plenty of PS3 titles this generation that have run great, even exclusives like Yakuza which look phenomenal.
And how exactly is Platinum to blame if SEGA were the ones who made the port? Perhaps it was SEGA who was pushing a PS3 version in the first place? No one to blame but SEGA for a lack luster port, they could have done better but they didn't.
Looks kind of promising thus far but I'll wait for the reviews, a lot is riding on this for 2K Sports!
