Have you ever updated a 360 before? It has some of the best updating infrastructure this generation. It only takes a few minutes to download and install a Dashboard update, game updates are even quicker.
Just look at how well optimized the new dashboard is post NXE, popping up the guide and selecting different menus is almost seamless.
If the marketing plans were, "go exclusive" it would make perfect sense. Everything is pretty much just speculation at this point.
If memory serves right, developers had gotten dev kits for Kinect just before E3 2009 so I'm also curious to see when these guys applied.
Red Dead Redemption is a sequel to Red Dead Revolver so it's not really that original in terms of new IP or anything.
GTA isn't the only think Take Two has to make money either, The Warriors, Bully, BioShock, etc have made them quite a bit of money, GTA is really just the icing on the cake that comes along every few years to help out.
It could be either way, could be Sony wanted to keep it exclusive and it could be Microsoft did as well. If both of them were asking for exclusivity it would make sense that they would stick with Sony since they would have already had access to the PS Eye dev kits given these statements.
That is nothing more than a conspiracy theory and this is called professionalism. West could love Black Ops for all we know but due to the lawsuit even saying that much could be an issue.
And what's do say he still doesn't have friends working at Treyarch? Infinity Ward and Treyarch have been collaborating the games for quite some time, surely they've gotten to know each other in the process?
"They were the ones taking the series in a new directon, not playing me too like 3arc is."
HA! You obviously haven't played any Call of Duty before 4 then. Call of Duty 3 created a new formula and a new way to tell the story, you weren't just a nameless character, you were an actual person with a narrative. Call of Duty 3 had a new multiplayer system for the series that required skill and teamwork, great post launch support, etc.
But, al...
"even one of the cod creator thinks is a waste of tim."
Firstly, he never said that. Secondly, if he did say something like that right now, there kind of is an 800 pound elephant in the room...
And asking for bubbles is the fastest way to get them removed. Make useful comments and the minority non fanboy N4G users will take note and bubble you.
TheOldOne: An American site is reporting about this and citing an American organization (NPD), why should they disclaim it? It's clear enough as is that they are referring to American sales.
I had to watch it a second time, didn't catch it the first time but it was pretty funny. :P What's the context behind the rant?
Epic music, that brought back memories!
Why would you respond to your own comment like that?
Forget to login to your multi or something? ;)
OT: Can anyone link to the videos? I'm not visiting a Gawker site after the hacking debacle. My info. :(

If it was a reboot they would simply call it Windows Phone and remove the 7. It would also share very few similarities to previous releases, it's not required but optional with reboots. I think it is you who needs to brush up.
Fallon is certainly a gamer, how much or how little varies but he has quite a few game developers on his show and does indeed try their games live.
You certainly aren't talking like you know/knew, especially when you put that list together.
"Failed experiment"? Right, HTC's Windows Mobile phones have been selling millions and the business is still viable. I'm sure the decade long "experiment" is sure to be put behind them and Microsoft is just itching to do so...
Do some research, Windows Mobile has been around a lot longer than the iPhone has been.
I should also remind you that Zune for the past few years is only available in the United States. You can't buy them in Canada anymore for what ever reason. It's marketshare was around 10% I think about a year ago. For a device that is only sold in the States, it isn't doing too bad and the closest thing to competition for the iPod anyway.
"killers" if you choose to use such terms are for those that are entering an industry for the first time. Microsoft has been in the phone business for over a decade now. They like all competitors had their fair share at a reign but now it's an all out war. If anything, the iPhone was a Windows Mobile, Palm, BlackBerry, etc killer.
And Windows Phone 7 isn't a "poor substitute", it has a lot going for it but the step backwards for certain features ...
If hype truly gets in the way of reviewing then Killzone, Medal of Honor, Epic Mickey, etc would be the highest rated games in history due to hype while BioShock (which really came out of no where with the reviews, demo, etc), Legend of Zelda: OoT (which didn't have the same means as games do today thanks to the internet), etc would be sitting in the 70s/80s.
Disclaimer: Not saying all of those games reviewed good or bad or weren't deserving in any way.
Not even GT5 is full 1080p (it's 1280*1080 in certain modes but also 1280*720), it's really not truly needed and likely not feasible this generation for full on simulation games.
And unless you want to play a game with really long load times and pop in galore, anyone seriously suggesting "go one disc" needs look at the reality of things and the technical limitations of programming.
Here's a list of rendering resolutions for those int...
The game is technically on a single disc with Forza 3, the second disc was just bonus content that you could install.
At least give the Kinect features a shot first. I can't comment on the racing bit since it seems odd. But the car thing was kind of cool and pretty natural everything considered. I doubt Kinect will play a huge role in the game itself but mostly with bonus features like that for people who have one.
On N4G as a whole, it's kind of ...
They'll make it back at least twice. Let's assume the monthly fee for a contract is $50 with a three year contract.
50*36 = 1800
And it's not like Telus, or any phone company is buying this stuff for the price that a consumer would.
So going by your logic, Square should still be Nintendo exclusive since if it weren't for Final Fantasy 1 selling really well they would have closed up shop decades ago. Companies don't pledge allegiance and folks who own a PS3, Xbox 360, etc and like Square's games will buy them regardless.
And how did this story even get approved? The titles are DRASTICALLY different.
N4G is going down hill.
