Yeah, someone who hasn't worked at Microsoft since 2002 was surely influenced by them to help two clients find a new studio...
And Peter Moore had no choice, he was under so much pressure from Japan, they didn't even let him do what he wanted with the console. What else could he do?
And Microsoft only took what they developed themselves for the Dreamcast, why would they leave all of their research behind when SEGA already announced the Dreamcast w...
This is for a court case, you better be sure you aren't lying in one or else your case could fall out from underneath you and even worse.
They likely have evidence for all of this, in this case, e-mails. The title is simply sensationalized by CVG.
Yeah, Black Ops sales kind of halt that. And there are still 30 or 40 old Infinity Ward employees still at Infinity Ward.
Unless Respawn is able to put "from the creators of Call of Duty" on their box that game will sell no where near MW2, Black Ops, etc.
IRetrouk: The servers aren't shut down, I was playing the game the other day.
People pirate just as much in "developed nations", the difference is most the pirating in "developing nations" is bought through physical mediums while it's mostly digital everywhere else.
Fact check dude, all of that is already free. I can play Shadowrun with gamers on PC and the Xbox 360 for free if I'm on a PC. If I play on 360, I'd have to pay for Live but I could still pay with everyone else.
Everything Xbox Live has to offer is free on the PC. I don't buy Xbox Live Gold that much anymore since most of the Xbox Live gaming I do can be done through a PC for free.
UnwanteDreamz: If they are legitimate, I don't see why they would discount them at all. I assume they must have been sent from company phones, that's probably how Activision got them? They also discredit what West said about the trailer incident (at least, I think that's West's statement in the post?) with the messages.
At the end it's like this, Call of Duty wouldn't have sold nearly as well without the two being together. Activision promotes the he...
IW are the ones being accused of sabotage.
Treyarch has gone down hill in terms of COD with Black Ops but World at War and 3 are much better examples. There were some truly jaw dropping visual moments in World at War. The WaW engine even had co-op mode! Treyarch made some great tweaks to that engine and were under a tighter leash, not just with Activision in terms of a schedule but the fans too.
Call of Duty 3 pushed the series forward by having a legitimate story line that was somewhat more mature than the ones be...
Funny how the matter is still in courts and people have already made up their minds about who is automatically right. Activision could be the victims here, or it could also be West/Zampella. Having a full fledged studio provided by EA mere days after being fired could be seen as suspicious, so could witholding bonuses. This can go either way.
The Justice system is great, isn't it?
That being said, Black Ops isn't that good but World at War was pre...
Riccitello has been with EA since the 90s...
And Kotick saved Activision, they were on the brink of bankruptcy before he bought the company and turned them around. I don't care what you think of him as a person, you have to give him some credibility in that regard.
beavis: His job is only US related, for someone who seems to hate him so much you are certainly missing a few key details.
"Keep trying"? You're the one who has know idea how corporate structures work! Multiple divisions, positions, etc for different locations to appeal to local markets and conditions.
Aaron Greenberg, you mean the same Greenberg who is a Microsoft US employee hence touts Microsoft US figures much like his US counterparts from other US based gaming divisions?
I'll get right on it.
Not letting me edit my comment but here's an interview with Core which sums it up perfectly.

Angel of Darkness was rushed as well,

The AOD team was also working on a PSP remake of the first game separate from what Crystal Dynamics was doing. A tech demo was leaked and it looked pretty good, better than Anniversary on the PSP for sure. Eidos canceled it and instead went with CD's concept.
Let...
The 360 version of Legends and I think maybe Anniversary were just HD upscales of the last generation ones with some added effects. Underworld is the only true next gen Tomb Raider since it was running on a new engine built for the newer hardware.
Technically the only one that was on the PS2 that isn't included here is Angel of Darkness. The PC version is better anyway, the PS2 port is a buggy mess. The concept behind it was great though but it needed more development time.
They also made an interactive DVD of Angel of Darkness so I guess you could pick that up instead and play it on your PS3. :P
Legends and Anniversary were on the PS2 but they had HD console versions on the 360 so a majority o...
This seems to be more of a network/retailer promotion as were the others, but that's not to say Microsoft is left out.
It should be expected that such phone deals would occur around this time of the year. Even Android had some crazy deals recently through Amazon. Things like 2 for $50 and such.
It gets worse each passing day. =/
Ah yes, the good old Fanboy Entitlement Act of 2010, what the hell were those politicians thinking when they passed that? They'll ruin the industry!
Another case of out of touch politicians trying to orchestrate the games industry. Damn.
