Stupid move, the Midway name is more recognized than the Warner name in gaming.

Live also has dedicated servers for some games, almost all EA multiplayer titles do, so does Unreal Tournament III, Frontlines, etc.

I played the PC demo and really liked it, I think I might get it for console though since it is one of the few 1080p native games, plus local co-op!
I have a lot of catching up to do when it comes to Fallout DLC, the last I played was Anchorage and that was so-so, good to see Bethesda is still churning out quality packs.

Rockstar is a huge brand, keep in mind for many of the bigger titles the job is split up among the Rockstar studios.
Ex, if one studio is good and multiplayer another at AI, etc those studios would take care of their respective parts. Similarly, they could have a studio working on DLC and another on GTA V or what ever it will be.
SE will probably win, I assume these guys got a cease and desist order before a court order. In such circumstances it is usually wise to follow said cease and desist order...

Gamers will care, Midway has plenty of awesome franchise, there problems were they didn't have the budget to polish them up or the skill to advertise them well. With Warner Brothers they get both, I'm confident they will do better now.
Look at Atari under Warner, that was some of Atari's most profitable years. Warner knows what they are doing, the problem is they have a track record of bailing when times are tough.
I've never really though of it like that, I guess looking back their haven't been very many good comic to game adaptations.
I agree, plus at that price it's really hard to go wrong. They're are plenty of similar games at retail that cost more.
Although they were called Midway Mfg before, Midway Games officially recognizes themselves has a company with "over 50 years" of history or something along those lines.
By the end of today the Midway name will be no more and this legacy will cease to exist. This is also significant because Midway was one of the if not the last true classic American gaming companies.
