Yea since to get HD the only way is Blu R.... oh wait!
HDTV, HD DVD, WMV HD DVD, Downloads, Netflix Streaming, video on demand, you name it! Just because someone buys a HDTV and not Blu Ray does not say anything about them, HDTV did have MANY used before Blu Ray and HD DVD you know.
Don't get me wrong, after the format war ended I got a Blu Ray player.
On topic, I don't see how this author got to this conclusion, Toshiba wasn't making much money wi...
Macaroni and Cheese + Pizza are what I usually eat, not while physically gaming of course since I don't want to wreck my gear so I usually take 2 minutes or so to eat as fast as I can.
The other bundle they did with Wii Play is doing extremely well so as long as Nintendo makes a effort to tell people something is included with the game it should do well. Besides, they just need to put out a cheesy ad and the moms will eat it up.
I played some of Persona 4, the environment/setting was really immersive, I got up-to the pat where you are allowed to freely roam around but I stopped their since I didn't have the time commitment then to finish it. Might go back to it shortly though.
It's good to see WMP is actually making a difference, will be interesting to see how developers use it in future games.
Mr Remington: Uh, what do you think Rare has been doing for the past few years? The problem is no one bought the games like Rare had hoped.
I could see why people like it but it doesn't seem like my cup of tea.
The Xbox doesn't get the E74, the Xbox 360 gets E74... ;)
Great way to kick things off, can't wait, day 1 buy for me!
There is actually a decent chunk of people who want small electronics, in Japan for instance, one of the many reasons the original Xbox failed was the hug size of that thing. Similar cases can be seen with the PS3, making it smaller will encourage these people to jump in.
Touchmaster is one of my favorite puzzle titles on the iPhone :)
It would have bombed worse on the other consoles, The Conduit is really only a good experience on the Wii because it "pushes the envelope". On other consoles the same experience will seem primitive, last gen or even further back!
This seems like something I would like for the Wii, hope it sells well to encourage similar titles that take advantage of the system.
This is horrible, I wish all involved a speedy recovery, I hope you all get back on your feet as soon as possible.
RIP Midway 1958-2009,
It really came out at the wrong time to be honest, I saw very little marketing for it. Plus with Killzone 2 imminent it probably didn't help the game's case much.
It seems and sequels Monolith did horror wise didn't do so well, Condemned 2, F.E.A.R. 2, etc.
Sweet, downloading now! :)
I disagree with such a comparison, not only was Crackdown the first open world next gen game but their is over a 2 year difference between the two. If Crackdown had good elements the inFamous team could have borrowed, improved, etc.
If anything do Protoype since those games have roughly the same development schedule, release, etc.
Awesome! It may take some time to catch up to the App Store but at least Microsoft is not ignoring the huge WM install base. This makes the fact that the HTC Touch Diamond won't be getting 6.5 a bit tolerable.
Why do people always call every musical singing game a rip off of SingStar? Have these people not heard of a little something called Karaoke before?
The Xbox 360 is capable of doing 1080p on both component and HDMI,
