I'm not saying they should be removed, as people do enjoy them, but does it matter? I feel that as they are game consoles, that should be the first and formost focus. not having it serve as a movie/netflix/hulu/amazon/twit ch/facebook device, but instead as a device for the medium it was created for. not one that tries to wiggle its way into others
I feel that that is fanboys in general. their very nature is built upon chauvinism for their respective item of interest and is not exclusive in any way to what it is they support. They all have things they can brag and inflate about their choice. Such things as the PS4 being in first or the system's power is used a lot by Sony fans, Nintendo's age/importance to the industry for Nintendo Fans, and Microsoft's electronic dominance/360's success for its fans. these things are no...
People don't have the same interests, it really is that simple. you tout MGS, Uncharted, No Man's Sky, et cetera as being the best, the games that every person would see as the epitome of gaming, even though "the best/amazing" is purely opinion. Therefore, we can't call it some kind of "Sensational Nintendo Fanboy Article" as we have no way of knowing if the author had the malicious intent of creating a flaimbait/sensationalist piece in the first place. we can ...
true, but that's probably because of the money grabbing ports there are. 3rd party trust is dead for the system's consumers. And thus when you see a genuinely good port, no one buys it, well not "no one" but you get the idea
Anyone else see the obviously peeled open top of the plastic casing?
I don't know if it's this way for everyone, but the Majora's Mask remake seems like a fairly nice nugget. and LOZ:ALBW only came out last year and its pretty good IMO
@Tibasco
P.T. wasn't advertised as a game. was more so a demo/experience and was free. somewhat curious why its on here, it's good don't get me wrong, but it isn't really a game in my opinion.
On the other hand, MGSGZ was advertised as a game and people bought it at midnight for 60 bucks to play through the night while it only lasted till 2-3 AM.
I would love that! just no pointless sticker mechanic and give us a proper RPG story, like 1000 year door. That game was great
Understandable concerns, I also, as I'm sure most, have experienced games that never came close to delivering what they promised. However, what we have seen so far partially sets me at ease that this game will deliver. Star Citizen is currently in pre-alpha and is already looking beautiful, and is only getting better with time, as well as is already partially challenging the preconceived standards of the genres it resides in.
As for its comparison to Elite, I feel it is u...
they look like cutouts! I'm curious if this is a large problem, probably not as disc manufacturing messes up rather rarely. I'm sure the guy will either get a refund or a new copy from Nintendo, assuming he doesn't try to sell it as some kind of rare edition :)
Explains why my wii u has crashed the last couple times I tried to start it up. Seems to break while trying to pull up the "your wii u powered down automatically after an hour of inactivity" notice, my family often leaves it on ;)
I'm sure it'll be fixed in time. It's hardly any more than a small nuisance after all
I'm fine with this as I believe that reviewers should buy their own games. It helps to promote a review that is as unbiased as possible, that is if they aren't throwing a fit about not getting it for free. only downside is that you get websites saying that they aren't confident in their product when it may very well have nothing to do with that. We simply don't know their reasoning.
Those look superb, especially for their price! Just look at that Captain Falcon!
They showed some gameplay during Nintendo Treehouse during E3, after character creation you start by coming out of an escape pod and you have to get to New Los Angeles with a character that wakes you up. I don't know why the protagonist is in the escape pod, as the game was in Japanese at the time and the speakers didn't talk about it
if you look closely, their is a woman sunbathing by the pool when the character jumps into the yard. and there may be people sitting at the table in the next yard. so there are some people there, maybe they just don't freak out when some guy moon jumps through their yard :)
At a very quick glance, though it covers more than what I am responding to, it would seem that this article uses the common, though superficial, view of gamergate as a movement founded on the principle of hate, and proceeds to go on to further highlight the abuse the various SJWs have faced. Now if we were to go by neutrality, with proper research we would find that both sides throw petty insults, death threats, and doxxing to a near equal level. Whether a person makes it known that they were...
That depends on what you mean, the system is currently making a profit and is in second place in sales. I think a better question would be: "Can Nintendo continue to improve the Wii U's sales?". It certainly isn't meeting sales expectations from Nintendo, but it isn't in such a bad spot
Congrats to whoever wins
interesting
I recall reading something from TV Tropes about Nintendo, let me see if I can find it. Ah! Morton's Fork, where something is either A or B, but both lead to a negative outcome for different reasons. The exact excerpt for Nintendo is as follows:
"Morton's Fork: Played with by the internet at large. If Nintendo releases their usual products, they're all kiddie stuff. If they go for darker, edgier content, they're seen as overstepping their comfort zone. If ...
