awesome, I hope we can get alternatives to the JJ Abrams style. A TOS or TNG style would be much better, TOS would actually work better with the graphics
Called it, Nintendo always releases their systems the following year or so after announcement, and have maintained a minimum of 5-year console lifespans. I'd imagine, given how at the last E3, they had said more information on the console will be revealed this year, there will be a dedicated ND for it if it isn't appearing at E3.
How do I put my favorites on the header? do I need to open the extension every time I want to get to the pages I actually care about?
And this is why people were upset about the Facebook purchase...
Compare Pokemon Yellow to Pokemon OR/AS. The core elements are there, of course, but a great bit of other things have been added. 2D to 3D, pokemon genders, breading, shiny pokemon, minimap, et cetera
Makes me curious over the possibility of USB C ports. Would give a good bit of speed between these separate components, seeing as latency could be the largest pitfall with such a design.
I mainly purchased it because I love Twilight Princess, and because I think the Amiibo is pretty cool looking. Everything else is just added benefit
I was lucky enough to check Amazon one day to see that the stock was available again. Fastest preorder I ever did, and good thing too cause it sold out a couple minutes after. This is gonna be sweet when it comes out
An interesting thoery, but given Nintendo's history with console releases, I don't think it'll release 5 months after announcement. Nintendo has the habit of giving at least a year's notice on their releases. Even the Ps4 and XBO had 10-11 months from their announcement to release.
I adore Majora's Mask. I found that time limit added a certain level of urgency to my actions that most other games fail to deliver. In Ocarina of Time, you have your objective, just like any campaign, but you're not hard pressed to do it. Go fishing, trade masks, teach scarecrows songs. Despite the world falling into chaos the player can make Link ignore it.
While there are plenty of side quests in Majora's Mask, the game isn't waiting on you to eventually ge...
Interesting, your reasoning for wanting CEs is because people like them. The sales of Amiibo shows that people like those as well, the only difference is that you don't like them.
I personally don't care that much about steelbooks, they're nice to have and all but they end up getting looked at a couple of times than shelved for a long while. But I understand that people enjoy them so I'm not going to say they shouldn't exist, as the joy that they provide s...
it was announced in February, but I see your point. We'll have to wait and see I suppose :)
I don't think it'll release next year. They said that they would talk about the NX at E3 2016, which would only give them 5 months to advertise the thing if they're planning on an November release, which is fine for a controller or game, but a console is a bit more of a selling point as well as having much more bugs to iron out by release. Even though the PS4 was announced the same year of it's release, it was announced at the beginning of the year, and Microsoft followed afte...

The Wii was announced at the 2005 E3, came out a year later. The GCN was announced in 2000 and came out a year later. the N64, then named the Nintendo Ultra 64, was announced in 1994, but it went through some development hell after and was originally meant to come out Christmas 1995, but came out 2 years later in 1996. coincidentally that would've made it's life-cycle only 4 years.
It's very possible that the NX may come out next year, ...

NX: 2017?
It would have a pretty average lifespan if the NX is coming out in 2017, which would make sense if the actual announcement is ...
Their announcement of mobile gaming would've taken focus off both Wii U and 3DS. The announcement of the NX development was to try and stave that effect. It certainly worked though, people aren't thinking that Nintendo is giving up on traditional gaming, they're just all very interested in this new console.
I don't know, Splatoon is pretty cool. And despite it sharing the company mascot, Mario Maker is a new IP.
constructive criticism is healthy. All you're doing is reaffirming his belief by destroying any chance you would have to argue it with him.
Nintendo fans do buy non-Nintendo games, they're just a different ecosystem than the other two platforms, so bright and colorful games, especially traditional genres like platformers, do better than the nitty gritty titles that Xbox and Playstation heralds. if companies took advantage of this, and made games that Nintendo gamers want to play, they could make a tidy side profit, especially since development costs would be lower for the weaker hardware. Remember, Rayman legends sold best on...
May I ask what your first Zelda was? The original Zeldas were open world like this. The first Zelda's story was you get a sword in cave and you just go exploring. All the dungeons were unaligned. Similarly, if you wanted to you could run ahead the beaten path in Link's adventure, and Link to the past was also quite open. The heavily controlled progression showed up when Zelda went 3d and hit its all time high in Skyward sword. Since then Nintendo has been returning to Zelda's root...
