This game was great. I think the floor to ceiling HD projector and surrounf sound system we used at my friends house definitely added to the creepy/horror factor. I am excited to play through it again next year (and hopefully saving more core characters hah) when I pick up my own PS4.
Pokemon for sure, or Disney's Magical Kingdom. Somewhere where I could have fun, meet interesting creatures/beings and travel without having to worry about being murdered by the Dark Brotherhood in my sleep, eaten by a griffin in broad daylight, kidnapped by Ganon or impaled by a spiky turtle.
I do too. I plan on waiting on both, jut to see how things play out, but I hope they both do good.
Sorry, but I'll stick with Rock Band for my "fun play" and Rocksmith for when I actually want to learn real stuff. I don't like how Rock Band and Guitar Hero are no longer compatible with each others' guitars (thanks Guitar Hero). Rock Band may still be the same, but I played it at PAX and I enjoyed the new solo controls. On top of that, being able to play it with multiple people and having instrument options along with a vast library of new and old songs (over 1500) tak...
I am still pissed that Guitar Hero changed their guitar controller, thus making it impossible to play using Rock Band guitars on GH and vice versa. Looks like it will only be RB for me from here on out.
Who didn't see this coming. I know I did. I actually had no interest in No Man's Sky until this point. I really think Project Morpheus could add a whole new dimension to the exploration-focus of this game. I will definitely keep tabs and see where this goes!
I agree! I am so happy with my Xbone. Now if only I could procur more time to actually play it...
On a side note, while Xbone is the console I am most excited for, I have to say seeing Pokemon Go (mobile) sort of got me really excited as well :P.
I am definitely glad of the changes the console has gone through, particularly the changes between 2013 E3 and when the system was finally released. I have enjoyed my Xbone since the day I got it. The only thing I wish they would put a bit more time and effort into (and I realize I am one of the few who actually wants this) is the Kinect. I absolutely LOVE my 360 and Xbone Kinects...I just wish there was more to do/play with them!!
You obviously are not old enough to have enjoyed the original Crash games. Those, along with Spyro and Jak and Daxter truly paved the way for a new kind of platformer.
I am all for bringing Crash back...but while we are at it can we please bring back Jak and Daxter as well?!
I still have my original PS1 version of FF7, and I recently bought it on PSN as well. I plan to buy the re-release Day 1, and am hoping for a special edition console bundle (I know it probably won't happen). While 11 million may seem like a small number to you, please keep in mind this is a game that came out when the internet was a baby. It made huge waves and sold tons of copies by word-of-mouth hype. With the way the internet is now (and how much gaming has grown as an industry) of cou...
Has anyone heard what the release date for Persona 5 will be? I've been waiting in anticipation for far too long...I am starting to think it won't come out until 2016 :(.
Lost Odyssey and Tales of Vesperia were the top two JRPG's of the last generation in my opinion (for all systems). I don't see a sequel happening for Tales of Vesperia (*sigh*) so I am relying on LO to make that sequel happen!
Definitely! This was one of the first JRPG's that really grabbed me from the beginning. Most JRPG's (Persona, FF, Kingdom Hearts, etc.) have super long videos in the beginning, which are awesome but can slow down the momentum. LO had an intense short video and then just threw you right into the battle. Within 10 mins or so you are fighting a minor boss! It did everything so darn well.
Once a troll always a troll. Just let him stay under his bridge and keep commenting. It is his life after all.
I am going to PAX Prime for the first time this year, so I am sorta hoping that will be like a third E3 ;).
Lost Odyssey was one of the most underrated games of the last generation. Seriously, a masterpiece. They better bring it over!
@Phar0had3 Sony was at Gamescom, they just didn't have a conference. There were multiple booths set up. Do you even know what Gamescom is? Also, in defense of Microsoft, they did announce Halo Wars 2, and showed a decent amount of gameplay for exclusives people are looking forward to. Both companies had hightlights...why do you have to throw one under the bus just to make the other look good?
Awesome! I am excited I'll get to see this in person at PAX!
Did you like Cabin in the Woods? Or the Descent? It has it's "silly teen horrors" moments (particularly early on in the game) but it becomes so much more as it goes on. Make sure to give it a full playthrough, it is worth it!
