I want Lost Odyssey so bad! My guess is they are trying to figure out how to make both the physical and DNL versions acceptable...the physical does have 4 discs after all heh.
I am starting to think that the N4G fanbase is very heavily made up of PS Pony's. I love both systems, but constantly seeing a company/system getting berated for everything is starting to get old. It might be time to switch to IGN.
If the publishers have agreed to it, why not add it? Just because they decided to add DSII does not mean they could have "added another in its place". MS has to get permission from all third-party game companies to allow their games to be added to the BC list. It is not a first come first serve system amigo.

I've just never been a fan of third party controllers, or else they aren't a fan of me. I have tried a slew of different ones and every one gives me a problem of some sort. On the other hand, my original MS 360 controller still works like a beaut.

Awesome! I have so many xbox 360 games I never beat (two jobs = lots of games but little time to play) so it will be a treat to be able to finally finish some of them without having to pull out my 360!
I hope they have a LE console with this game. I feel like you could craft a pretty awesome looking shell to go along with this game.
It is 1080p, but it is only 60 fps so keep that in mind.
I am also perfectly fine with a price hike. But, as you can see, tons of people are not. All the people giving me the disagrees are probably the same people complaining about the price hike hah. I do hope that they use the extra cash for more dedicated servers and a stronger PSN. The discounts/free games are more than enough value for an annual fee of 59.99++ in my opinion.

IMO, Sony dug themselves a hole when they offered free multiplayer on the PS3. It was (and still is) great for consumers, HOWEVER in the long run it has crippled Sony. Last generation, Xbox 360 outsold the PS3 in the beginning, even with the $60 yearly required subscription to play online. While it didn't seem very consumer-friendly at first, it has allowed Microsoft to make Xbox Live and its servers a force to be reckoned with. Now that Sony is doing great with the PS4 and outselling its...
Search "PSN down" on any news site and you will see that PSN had tons of problems 7/29-7/31. I tend to only use my PS3 for single player, so in most cases it doesn't effect me. I plan to get a PS4 sometime next year, but I will say one of the issues holding me back is all the PSN problems, particularly past breaches. I don't deal with that on my Xbox 360 or One...but then again, maybe I am just lucky in my Xbox Live experience.
I am very excited for both console lineups next year. Currently, I only own the XBone, but I am looking forward to getting a PS4 in the future. The only PS4 games I am extremely excited for this year are Persona 5 (if it even comes out this year!) and Tales of Zestiria. However, since both titles are coming out for my PS3, I can just wait until next year to get a PS4. I am hoping for a cool PS4 exclusive console...perhaps FF themed? Only time will tell.
Haha I know. I just mean that by being able to pre-order 17 months in advance you only have to save $3.82 per month (give or take a few cents depending on where you buy it, tax, etc.) to have it "paid off" by the time you buy it.

I enjoy remasters, but I feel like they should fill the space in between the big AAA, exclusives, and indie titles. Playing an old game over again with better graphics is great, BUT playing a brand new game is a whole new experience. I hope MS and Sony keep releasing a couple of remasters here and there, but I would prefer that they spend the majority of the time on bringing us nebrand new amazing experiences.
I bought a PS3 in February instead of a PS4 primarily becuase I missed a lot of games on the last PS gen. However, I already owned 15+ PS3 games (I used to use old roommates systems), so for my needs it made more sense to get a PS3. At this point, PS4 is the only system I don't own, so I am hoping to pick it up next year. If it had BC already, I would have 100% picked up a PS4 instead of a PS3. I doubt they are ever going to be able to allow physical BC though...it would be far too expens...
