I could give two craps less about zombies. It's obvious the game isn't taking itself seriously like Last Of Us was trying to do.

This is a truly different direction for Epic Games and I applaud them for going in a new direction.

People always say they want new IP's and inventive IP's and yet when something like this is announced people talk smack on it.

Bottom line is MW3 scored better reviews then Battlefield 3, it sold better and now it's won a pretty big award here over it as well.

Combine them all and it's pretty compelling. People are running out of arguments for Battlefield 3 being better.

The Wii won this generation, I love it, it's been inventive and fun and I enjoy the games on it. I own one, same with a 360 and PS3, those things come down to preference. ...

There really was never much of a competition for GOTY IMHO, I think the closest might have been Batman Arkham City, but Skyrim was destined to win and anyone who thinks differently is wearing blinders.

I love Skyrim, but then again I bought it on the 360 and have had no problems, I can see people being a bit upset if you have the PS3 version, but the game is still great and no game is without flaws.

Congrats to Bethesda on what is the first of many GOTY wins...

So Modern Warfare 3 won Shooter Of The Year, sold more then any other game and scored very well.

Good job EA! You should come out with a game to compete with Call Of Duty every year! Your good luck to the guys at Activision.

Wouldn't "peoples GOTY" imply it sold more to the people? I think there is a fly in that logic somewhere.

Looks pretty interesting, it truly was a departure from the normal for them. I am looking forward to hearing more about it in the future. Wish they would have had a platform or date on it though. Epic did a great job with it, good stuff.

Looks amazing! C&C looked epic as well, so far it's been a heck of a good show, far better then last years.

Who isn't over survival horror or zombies at this point? I don't care who the developer is or the console it's on.

I knew it wasn't a 3rd party developed game. I also knew it was some kind of survival horror related game, looks like a lot of other games of that genre.

I think it's a saturated genre and I'm just glad they didn't make us wait the whole show to see that, otherwise I'd have been quite disappointed.

It was just an analogy. I think it sucks that you buy something because of certain features and then they take those features away.

It's wrong, no matter how people try to slant it.

I was one of the people who actually used Linux on my PS3, so I was disappointed when they removed it. I think it's ironic that Sony removed it because they feared a breach and because of that they were breached.

This doesn't really surprise me, but when you advertise something it should come with what it's advertised with.

I mean if I bought a V8 Camaro and I got home and then Chevy called up and said, we've gotta downgrade you to a V-6, I...

OMG, I'm not a PS3 fan~! release the hounds! I could abhor the PS3 and it really shouldn't matter, my opinion is just as valid as someone who loves the PS3 and hates the Xbox 360 or Wii.

Maybe this will clarify things, even if The Last Of Us was on another console I still wouldn't be interested.

Sick of those types of games to be honest. It has nothing to do with PS3 or anything else.

I know some people with PS3's but I don't think they are too interested in a game that has been postponed and been worked on since the start of this generation. That usually doesn't work out too well.

Also, as I said the whole post apocalyptic genre has been run into the ground at this point.

Sorry to not buy into the hype or D-ride Sony, I have nothing against them, but I'm not in love with them like the majority of this site seems to be.

Actually, "The Last Of Us" is only getting buzz around here, most of the gamers I know are looking more towards Epics new IP, Bioware's new game and Alan Wake is stirring up tons of interest.

I personally could care less about another post apocalyptic game or zombie or whatever it is.
