Seems to be a lot of broken PS3's laying around. I see a lot of people who are just expecting theirs to break, I hope it's not a huge issue, mines out of warranty as well and I don't think I'd buy a new one, not really worth spending another $120 on something I already spent $500.
Half Life is one of the most overrated games I've grown to bored to finish. I do not see the hype or how people actually like this game. It's a snooze fest to say the least.
People seem to love Valve, I cant tell if it's just N4G or the PC elitist's, but Valve's games are all pretty basic and the only ones I've ever found to be inventive or fun was the Left 4 Dead games.
This thing was doomed from the start. I think Sony is starting to get humbled more and more with each passing year. It seems like they try to push something out that the public didn't really ask for, like the PSPGO, 3-D and this Xperia phone.

Sometimes people can make jokes or dislike things, even the PS3. Doesn't mean they don't own one or haven't given it a fair shake.
Actually, didn't MW3 change more then Uncharted as far as Multiplayer goes? The Strike Packages are new, new weapons, perks, killstreaks, a ton of new game modes, improved Spec Ops modes.
I think people complain that it's the same thing without actually playing it.
They aren't going to totally change how a COD game plays to appease a couple of hundred idiots that keep saying it's the same thing, especially when there are 20+ million who like ...

You could make a case for that with any game. Technically Uncharted is just the same thing over and over again, same with Zelda, Gears and a host of other games.
I think people just like to bash on Call Of Duty because it's so successful and people like to bring down things that are a success.
When you look at the fact that only 50% of the population have HDTV's at this point, then you realize that 3-D TV's are at less then 1% right now.
That engine is designed for multiplatform games, so I'd expect a 360 and possibly Wii U version of whatever game it is.
I don't see a cutscene, so it's probably not a MGS game.
This is N4G, so you expect people to take up arms for everything Sony related. I don't think it's a good idea for a game, but I'm sure it's a "Day one buy" for all the people here /s
Didn't Dead Rising 2 have a character fighting zombies to save his daughter? Doesn't every zombie game have characters trying to survive?
It's Naughty Dog, they did Uncharted 2 and blew everyone away, but we have been blown away by developers...
Spin it how you want to, but survival horror with zombies and mutants has been done and done and done and done and done and done and done and done done and done and done and done and done and done and done and done done and done and done and done and done and done and done and done done and done and done and done and done and done and done and done done and done and done and done and done and done and done and done....oh and it's been done.
They hate on it because they feel like Uncharted 3 would be winning more GOTY awards if Skyrim weren't in the picture, but Batman Arkham City is a better game as well.

Every game can get repetitive, there isn't really much innovation right now. If you like FPS games, why wouldn't you continue to like a game like COD?
Also, if you think MW3 is the same as MW2 or COD4, then you obviously haven't played it. It's a totally different experience. I hated MW2, but I love MW3, from the campaign to Spec Ops to the online Multiplayer it's a solid and fun game.

People don't like him, but $250-$300 is a lot of money for a handheld by itself, you still need to buy a game or two and memory sticks, before you know it, your at $450-$500.
I think it is an obstacle, most people think the price is decent and in and of itself it is, but the reason we all think it's decent is because we were all expecting a $400 price point by itself, especially after the PS3 launch.

Why is that unfortunate? If it's a deserving game then it deserves the score it gets. If it were a bad game then it'd get a deserving score.
There are no free passes when it comes to games or franchises.
Left 4 Dead appealed to me because it was a totally different take on a zombie game, never before could you play as a zombie in a FPS, it offered something unique and the community still thrives on XBL to this day.
Half Life on the other hand has been boring and tedious since day one. I never understood the love for the game. Never understood why people wanted sequels to it either, same with Counter Strike, that game is about as fun as going to the dentist.
