Funny I don't remember any xbox fanboys complaining when they were giving it away for a dollar in a way that you could keep reclaiming it and giving it away for free through rewards. In fact what i remember is you guys bragging about never having to pay for it.

While at the same time of course criticizing Sony for charging for games and pretty much anything else they did.

The Zen 2 is not going to be a limitation for 60 fps, and I wouldn't use Starfield as any kind of example of what can be pulled off on a console. Heck Bethesda couldn't even figure out how to create a seamless world or even fast loads when they had SSD speeds to work with.

I have way more confidence in Rockstar to be able to make a technically capable game than Bethesda.

Xbox has dug itself into a hole using game pass as a shovel, they were talking about billions of subscriptions when they were making these plans but so far it doesn't seem like anything they have done has even brought in numbers that can even match their peak during COVID.

They bought CoD but the truth is that its been fading for a while simply because there are so many options for people now and kids would rather play Fortnite and Roblox than CoD with their dad.

Yea, exactly.

Not a big change but I have certainly beat the initial portion of a game before I have finished downloading it on plenty of occasions over the years, so I would probably benefit from this.

Not big deal but if it's an improvement to the current system it's good by me.

I can't think of a big budget game that doesn't use it. It's become pretty standard honestly, it's been a feature since the launch of the PS4.

Optimization is irrelevant in this discussion and this isn't a pc vs consoles issue either.

Developers are already making games that can take advantage of more power than the current consoles can manage.

Probably never, PS5 has a dynamic theme system that switches the theme to what ever application or games theme the developers have created. Every PS5 game has it's own theme, as well as every menu in the UI has a custom dynamic theme they can each have their own music and be animated.

Of course people are going to complain, they even complain when they get free things. But the truth is the new system is way more advanced and way better.

Xbox owners are going to pay for Activision one way or another.

Game Pass price increases, no longer giving out games with gold, only a recycled set of games already on game pass, limiting access to Game Pass discounts and well as cutting the amount of time they last, changes to Microsoft Rewards and now Game Pass Rewards.

The cracks are already starting to show, eventually the costs will come in line with expenses.

Same for me, honestly, when the PS4 Pro was launched I didn't get it, I didn't really see the need. But then I got my PS5 and started playing all the PS4 Pro games and saw the difference.

I'm looking forward to the PS5 Pro, it should be a nice bump and bring consoles closer to PC, and if they can get existing games quality modes running at 60 fps or close enough to it for VRR it'll be awesome.

C'mon, guys have you seen Alan Wake and Avatar on PC or tons of other games that look way better on PC than on console?

Obviously there is need for more power, these developers are already scaling things back for console, these developers are already making games for hardware more powerful than PS5.

What you are saying is kind of silly when you put it in perspective of what is already being made.

Windowscentral seems to be getting pretty nervous about the numerous rumors of Microsoft becoming more of a publisher and putting games on PlayStation.

But of course the xbox fanboys can't wait to have the shortest generation ever to get a "next gen" console that's more powerful PS5 Pro and that's ok with Forbes. Which of course is is just console war BS considering that vast majority of them didn't even spring for the more expensive console this gen and just want a gamepass box for the cheapest possible experience.

Sadly for them though that rumor came from a nobody fanboy who just wanted to def...

"I remember back when game pass was first starting playstation fans said sony doesn't need a service like that. I guess the times have changed...lol"

You miss the point.

What people were against was the day one games because they can't bring in the type of revenue needed to support game development because they knew people would stop buying games,

For example there is about a zero percen...

Xbox fans used to brag about how many 360's they bought... is it any surprise that this group doesn't care that Microsoft's decisions are having a negative impact on the industry...

Generation after generation of failure.

Heh, don't take my jokes too seriously, and fear not I was still taking jabs at Microsoft.
