I feel like you don't understand what I am saying.
Microsoft gave this game out to select sites to provide the initial reviews, which were very high mostly 9-10's then when more sites got the game we saw way more 7's and lower. So just like Steam the reviews started out inflated then dropped.
And the user score on Starfield is a 70 on metacritic. Which is questionable, since it was 63, but then metacritic removed the exact amount of negative...
Do you think that's more or less impactful than Microsoft only giving review copies to review sites that would give them high scores?
Because, if you watched metacritic the score dropped significantly after the first wave of cherry picked reviews.
People call me a fanboy because i don't say nice things about the SX.
But I'll say something nice about SX: The SX is probably doing better vs 360 if you remove all the double counted RROD 360's that were peaking around this time in 360's life.
Yes, still talking about bullets fired and other crap that doesn't actually indicate the success of a game in any real way.
And on top of that these numbers are a lie, there is NO WAY that less than half as many people have played more time than BG, especially when as andy85 pointed out that a significant portion of that 13m players haven't even gotten the first trophy.
All this article does is make it obvious that everything Microsoft says is lie...
I mean, this video shows that it's just xbox hardware that is limiting.
All generation we see games run better on PS5.
Heck an issue that rarely gets brought up but is demonstrably factual is the stutter that SX has on next gen games that use high quality textures that it's SSD simply can't load fast enough causing a .5 to 1 sec+ stutters.
The fact of the matter is the PS5 is actually the better designed and more capable har...

Wow for a non-fanboy you sure are deep in this article in an extremely one-sided way.
The "condole war" exists because Microsoft from DAY ZERO created xbox for one reason, to take Sony's market share. And this isn't my view, this is what Steve Balmer and the rest of the clowns were saying when they were launching the original xbox.
Xbox is the first console that released by providing the exact same games as the competition, they more or...
"You sound like you are expecting something to run automatically on top of every game out there including existing games and magically providing much better performance than anything Nvidia, Intel or AMD have been able to pull off so far..."
I'd just like to remind you that Sony has been the industry leader.
PS4 Pro had hardware upscaling two years before DLSS and four years before FSR.
This is the thing, no wants to give ...
So it can't actually toast bread, just warm it up a bit. 😉

Every time there is an article about this you come in to downplay and spread misinformation.
"This upscaling is still basically just another flavor of upscaler for developers that dont want to use FSR or UE5s upscaler (and it makes sense if Sony doesnt want to rely on third party tech for their games), so there is no reason Sony couldnt try to do their own version of frame gen as well eventually"
The reports so far...
Oh then I'm surprised you didn't mention it since they release on the same day. I'm surprised you were so bothered by my comment since you're clearly not a fanboy.
I'm getting Rise of the Ronin instead.
Three 2023 PlayStation exclusives made it to their top 10 Final Fantasy 16 Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores and Spider-Man 2.
Then you realize that Starfield probably cost significantly more to make given that it's dev time was twice as long yet judging by the best sellers list MK1 which is ahead of Starfield hadn't even sold 3 million by the end of November.
So Spider-Man as of early November had sold 7.2 million.
Starfield has sold less than 3m and had a bigger budget and the majority of sales were on Steam meaning Microsoft didn't even get the full revenue from th...
You guys are trying to make me out as the villian for replying to an article that was clearly designed to provoke console divisions.
FFXIII is actually one of the best Final Fantasy games.
I also sort of was disappointed at the time, never as much as the bandwagon. But really all the fantastic 3D rendered cutscenes and I actually liked the characters and the story though convoluted was actually fantastic and the ending was extremely emotional. So much budget and time were put into that game Square had such big plans, I actually have always felt kind of bad for how things played out.
...
How dumb, this guy could have easily landed himself a 6 figure plus job but he's going to waste it on this crap.
You know Hellblade was a PlayStation exclusive when it launched? At the time the studio had thanked Sony for helping them create the game, saying they wouldn't have been able to fund it otherwise.
Now I will admit my comment is throwing shade at Microsoft, but what I said is not untrue.
I want to add something else, ya know when Microsoft had to provide information in court and their leaks, it proved factually that Microsoft had lied and purposely mislead people about tons of things.
In this much bigger leak there has been zero evidence that Sony or Insomniac has ever tried to mislead people.
So what does that say about Microsoft's two consoles that won't even sell 50m?
