Top 5 most anticipated game right now for me, can't wait.
It sounds like the guy who did the combat design for DMC is leading this and the team who did Hellblade is doing something else.
Except they started this before being acquired so you're not interested in facts either I guess 🤣😂
@Exvalos
Since you apparently didn't read literally the only info known about the game you'd see Ninja Theory started this game before being acquired by MS so there goes your entire comment...
It sounds like they have most of the studio on a solo/co-op sci-fi game more like what we are used to seeing from them.
Ninja Theory started the game before MS bought them. MS said they wouldn't control the type of games they make and that hasn't changed....
I mean Ninja Theory started this before MS bought them so.......
Sorry to burst your guys anti MS bubble and this ignorant, cherrypicked "MS forcing Ninja Theory to make a multiplayer" narrative you're pushing but it's confirmed that they started concept for this game in 2014....
Also congrats to showing how little you know about games and the process of making them if you actually believe that last June MS gave Ninja Theory this order for multiplayer and they already have a game that's ready to be played in beta not even a ...
Again still doesn't get close to Pitchford...who let's not forget also has Alien Colonial Marines and Duke Nukem on his resume if we're talking lies/over promising/under delivering. And again besides Fallout 76 and all it's surrounding issues (which I'm not excusing) what else is there really? Are we really letting Fallout 76 and some canvas bags ruin the reputation of a guy and a studio who brought us Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Skyrim. And has published some fantasti...
What an ignorant comment lol one bad game and suddenly he's worse than Pitchford who hasn't directly made a good game his entire life, steals from his employees, fights his voice actors, is rude to fans on Twitter, constantly says idiotic things, and is a definite perv maybe worse. Anything to join that Howard/Bethesda hate train huh
I don't see how with the success of the Crash N Sane Trilogy, Spyro Remastered and CTR and now Battle for Bikini Bottom remaster getting announced how Xbox can not at least remaster 1 & 2 it makes too much sense, I think this is the year.
Hellblade might have my favorite story of the past three or four years.
Also Metro Exodus earlier this year had a pretty good story. Last year Assassin's Creed Odyssey had the best AC story since 2 imo and Celeste was fantastic as well. The year before that both Wolfenstein: New Colossus and again Hellblade had fantastic stories.
'John Wick' movie getting video game adaption from Just Cause developers would be a far more interesting proposition. This however sounds horrible.
If we're talking 2D platformers, Mario 3 and Super Mario World are still the king's of the genre imo. But the modern Mario platformers are solid if a bit safe and boring (the "new" series specifically) and have definitely been surpassed by a number of modern 2D platformers: Hollow Knight, DKC Tropical Freeze, DKC Returns, Celeste, Inside, Super Meatboy, Cuphead, Ori, Rayman Legends, Rayman Origins, Guacamelee 1 & 2, Shovel Knight, The Messenger.
Howev...
They do also have like 4 of the 5 highest rated 3D platformers of all time (64, Galaxy 1 & 2, Odyssey) and two of the greatest 2D platformers of all time (3, and World) plus the platformers that saved the industry. So let's not act like they're all sales no quality.
Nothing
@TheRealTedCruz
They very well may do that but they also may want to establish something as completely their own or they may want to avoid any "backlash" associated with making a sequel to a multiplat an exclusive.
Tales is easily the best Tell tales imo, great story, interesting characters, and solid humor. But Borderlands 1 & 2 are phenomenal so I'd go:
Borderlands 2
Borderlands
Tales
Pre-Sequel
Very intrigued, excited it isn't more Evil Within cause while Evil Within never personally grabbed me I know Tango is a talented studio and really dig the setting and tone from the trailer.
