@Potnoddle999
I am here for an actual discussion. It's a Crackdown 3 discussion is it not? Fisher responded to someone actually talking about the game itself but instead of disputing it with negatives about Crackdown itself his comment was him trying to look clever by using a generic internet comment to get some likes for hating on Xbox exclusives, making literally no point at all towards Crackdown 3.
I'm honestly not even trying to defend Crackdown 3 lol ...
Not an amazing month but I've heard a lot of praise for Bloodstained and I'll at least give the others a try.
@Sam Fisher
Man what a useless condescending comment, got to fish for those anti-xbox likes on N4G tho right? Can't just let the man be excited for a game lol.
I wonder what state Retro's other project/projects are in?
@UniqueGuy91
I don't disagree with the streaming thing or xbox's idiotic start to the gen but in what way are "all if not most of their first party games GAAS"? Sea of Thieves, Gears 4 multiplayer, and what else is really GAAS?
....That's my point though, gaming itself isn't to blame replace a game storefront with any other online storefront and you have the same issue. I agree that loot boxes are clearly a gambling issue but beyond that I don't see why this is a gaming centered discussion when its an issue inherent to digital storefronts across the board.
Just playing devil's advocate here, I've made the same decision before and it's obviously your money to do what you want with. But is that line of thinking, not supporting a game you would have otherwise bought just on the principal that DLC has been announced for it (whether it looks good or bad) add to publishers feeling like they need to get more money from the player base. Kind of a cyclical problem but just a thought.
I think that has more to do with being unsupervised than gambling or addiction. I mean if you gave a kid access to a credit card in a physical store unsupervised more or less the same would happen.
Extremely disappointed that after Ubisoft finally stopped the annualization of AC and put some real time and effort being those games they've now decided to start churning out Far Cry games 2, 3, & 4 are so good but the series is starting to be more miss than hit.
I still think even as a bad Dark Souls game Dark Souls 2 is honestly still a really good game but I think the crazy high reviews were a lot of people making up for the fact that they missed DS1.
Game looks very interesting, surprised I haven't heard anything about it before it looks like a quality game.
Xbox exclusives that "moved me" recently Ori, Inside, Cuphead, Quantum Break, BELOW.
I don't unfortunately...
It's really a shame Isolation is honestly one of my favorite games of the generation and at the very least a competent stealth game, horror game or sci-fi game. Hopefully we still get a true sequel.
Better be an Isolation sequel.
Two fantastic games in Celeste and Far Cry 2 (which is vastly underrated imo) Lara Croft is also a decent coop game. Not a bad month, just wish they had something good I haven't played but it is what it is.
Agenda or not Kassandra had the better performance imo.
Honestly I'll be surprised to see SP dlc why sell dlc when you can peddle gold bars???
Honestly a but surprised too. I pretty much always play as male when given the choice but Kassandra seemed to have a way better performance from what I saw so I picked her seemed like a number of people I saw agreed with that assessment too.
Playing Ashen right now, definitely playing Below and Mutant Year Zero with Gamepass. Also very curious about Desert Child, game looks very unique.
This looks far more interesting than Destiny 1 or The Division 1 just in terms of surface level gameplay, movement, and world imo. And those games succeeded well enough. Plus Bioware has a better pedigree when it come to story. Not that Anthem will have a good story, be as "good" as those game, or be a good game in general. Whether Bioware fans, or hardcore SP end up liking Anthem I think the game will be far more successful than people think.
