Wouldn't say Infamous is a graphical "beast".
The FPS is all over the place, and drops into the teens if you blow up a lot of things at once.
I don't care what anybody says, the FPS drops are numerous, noticeable and frequent at times.
Infamous is certainly fun, but only for a few hours.
Once you get a certain power, you never see a reason to use the others, and once you've "cleared" the map, which takes a few hours and is stupidly easy, there is...mmmm...LITERALLY nothing else to do.
It's a game that doesn't do anything, graphically or gameplay-wise, that we haven't been seeing since maybe 2009.
What performance?
60 FPS is quite out of reach for almost every game on the PS4 so far, and with PC architecture knowledge spanning over 10 years now, coding shouldn't be an issue to get maximum performance.
All this "games will get better looking in time and higher FPS" on consoles is rubbish when the hardware is limited. If they can't do it now, they won't ever do it.
There's NO excuse to create a terrible engine t...
Only for those that have yet to play it.
No chance in hell am I paying £50 for a game I've finished 3 times already.
Blatant PC shot with that AA.
Way to copy DayZ's success Sony.
Jealous much?
PC gaming is cheaper thanks to Steam.
I bought Thief for less than £20 on release, and have already paid for pre-orders of Dark Souls 2 and Watch Dogs steam keys for around £20 each.
£60 for those 3 games. Almost £150 on consoles.
"More expensive" my ass. At this rate, if I bought 10 games a year, I'd spend £200 on PC and almost £500 on consoles.
Call it a 6 year cycle for console...
Only the mods will sort that.
Trolling aside, I do find it funny/weird that this simply isn't happening on PC.
You better get ready to deal with Ubisoft then.
100% guarantee it will be downgraded, and look best on PC.
Is this the new console owner's excuse now that 60 FPS is being proven to be out of reach by almost every game so far?
Pre-ordered through G2A's deal yesterday. £20 for release on Steam.
And they say PC gaming is more expensive. Like Jon Snow, console owners know nothing.
RARELY a hickup!?
Do me a favour. Destroy 2 DUP towers in a row, and watch the FPS halve.
Already have.
It's called a PC.
*sigh*
Basing the probability of a constant 60 FPS throughout the game on just one, not-too-complicated scene is idiotic.
If you don't know that looking in a different direction can have a massive effect on your FPS based on scene complexity, you're an idiot.
[EDIT] ONLY 3 HOURS LEFT ON THIS OFFER.
G2A has given me amazing prices, and just highlights why PC gaming is cheaper in the long run.
I bought Thief from them for £21 on release.
Reaper Of Souls was £24
Dark Souls 2 was £21 on pre-order.
Now Watch Dogs is £19. £19 for a pre-order.
Only downside is you can't pre-load as the CD keys only arrive on release day.
I love how no console owner knows what you're talking about.
PC masters unite.
Why does nobody realize that the Source engine is extremely easy to run on old hardware. Always has been since 2004 when HL2 came out.
Aged engine produces aged graphics, which is why Titanfall looks so bland.
Valve are the masters of engine creation.
And the fact that the Xbox One can't run at 1080p is a serious problem on such an old engine.
£40-50 on TLOU? I frigging LOVED TLOU on PS3, easily in my top 5 games of all time, even as a PC player, but I wouldn't honestly pay more than around £20 for this.
It's great for those that have never played the game and have rightfully converted from Xbox to PS4, and easy money for ND and Sony from the morons that buy the game again at full price, but to those that have played it, it's kinda pointless.
I'll happily wait until at le...
Yeah, PC gaming is soooooooooooooooooooooooo much more expensive.
What a load of bollocks.
