DayZ when you get stuck on a rock, glitch and die.
And the PC in the bottom left of the video demonstration?
Firstly, PC will always dominate in graphics.
If the console version of a game is similar to the PC, it's not a hardware power comparison at all. It's a bad engine with textures that only go so high. Tomb Raider for example had entirely NEW textures added for the next-gen consoles version. And up close comparisons showed, plain as day, that the textures were still nowhere near as detailed as they were on the non-upgraded PC version.
Secondly, until...
Enjoy your downgraded, lower resolution games at less than 60 FPS then.
120hz says high.
And Infamous SS looks about as good as games did back in 2010.
Stop banging that ISS drum. It's not THAT pretty of a game.
"Graphics we've had since 2010, a short story and NOTHING to do in the world! WAHAY! PS4! PS4!"
Watch Dogs proves the game wasn't dowgraded, as on PC it looks just as, or at least ALMOST, good as the game did at E3.
Consoles will have the visuals downgraded as they don't have the power to match PC visuals, and almost all games are revealed on PC, no matter what the devs say, and more to the point, what the console fans believe.
Well when you peal away the hype and the "pretty" graphics that console fans have been riding on as proof their hardware isn't lacklustre even though it is, as Watch Dogs proves for example, Infamous SS is a short, okay game.
Not amazing by any means.
One of a very small handful of games on PS4 that ACTUALLY do 60 FPS, not just reach it every now and again contrary to headline grabbing guff in the likes of Tomb Raider and Killzone etc, all running surprisingly below 60 on average.
Supply > Demand = Reduce price to shift stock.
All this does is highlight the Xbox's lack of sales over, say, the PS4.
To...confirm the PS4 dominance?
Wouldn't be worried mate.
The i5 4670k is a fantastic CPU. The i5's are good, but you always want the K version for the overclocking potential.
I have an i7 3770K OC'd to 4.6ghz. The only difference really between the i5 and i7 is that the i7 has hyperthreading. If a game comes along that uses hyperthreading, the i7 will see a signifcant performance boost.
i7 is more future-proof, but the i5s are damn good CPUs.
Titanfall's AI is "powered by the cloud."
Is that why it's so retarded?
Why anyone is "okay" with 30 FPS these days is beyond me.
60 FPS, constant, should be the minimum.
Only indie games so far on console, and MGS, have done a constant 60 FPS, and that's only because they're not demanding.
MGS for example looks amazing...until you get close. It's kind of like RAGE from id software. Amazing detail until you get close, and it's just a blurry mess.
I lost all faith in t...
In what world does Ambient Occlusion REDUCE the GPU load?
AO and SSAO are always a "turn off for better performance".
They said that about Killzone.
They said that about Tomb Raider.
No game has achieved a constant 60 FPS yet. I love Naughty Dog, but I'm not holding my breath on this one.
Like every game for the PS4?
Oh wait.
ACHIEVE 60 FPS no doubt. Maintain it? Doubtful.
As almost every PS4 game so far has proven, 60 FPS is not a constant.
This is pre-modded as well.
No doubt the DSFix mod will be back, making the game sharper and prettier with better lighting, and a high res pack will be done.
God I love modding.
Something consoles will never have, thankfully.
Steam is the benchmark.
Always works. Daily ACTUAL deals. None of this "Was £54.99, now only £49.99" bollocks. More like "Was £29.99. Now £3.67".
And the daily deals are the beauty of it. For one day you have the chance to snatch an amazing bargain. So Valve doesn't lose a tonne of money because not everyone will see it and take advantage of it.
And the Summer deals is just INSANE value.
And the game apparently has no "end game", so like Star Wars' MMO before it, I guarantee this game will be destined for the F2P bin within 6 months or so.
I love how they have NO idea how Loot 2.0 works.
Just because it's on consoles doesn't mean the loot system is better. It's the exact same. They're just too uninformed to know better, surprise, surprise. But hey! Whatever gets console owners excited!
Loot 2.0 allows any item in the game to drop, bar Torment specific legendaries (that ONLY drop on T1-T6) and items that can only be found in hordric caches from doing bounties.
