The NFC presentation was interesting but they really opened a lot more questions than they answered- I thought they would have a much more detailed and polished presentation that incluDed an NFC game as well - I do think it will take a dedicated game to get the NFC figures to take off but the fact they can be used in other games could be interesting ( or not)
It is too early to tell how much of a factor their versin of NFC will be for the Wii u
I wish they had shown more Zelda footage - what they showed was great but it makes me think it has a long way to go before its ready
I like the games you mentioned and will buy most or all of them but they are all fall titles - so for the 1st 9 months of this yeAr we will basically have had DK and MK

This article gets one thing right ( partially)- that 2014 will be thin for Nintendo ( what a surprise). But hey look at 2015 - which is whAt they said about 2nd half 2013 and 1st half 2014 then 2 nd half 2014- when are people going to get it? Xb1 sells 3rd party software at a much rate than Wii u even though they. Have a lower install base - look at ACIV- it released on. The Wii u before it the Xb1 launched yet it still sold far more on the xb1.

IMO this is an important announcement - If he is truly not well enough To go to E-3 then it must be something pretty serious - I can t see a CEO of a games co missing E-3 just as a precaution - This E -3 is by far the most important of the Wii u s lifetime and critical for Nintendo as a whole

Obviously home console sales have been terrible in Japan so selling 19 k last week is good .....for Japan. But the other consoles are making up for a weak Japanese market by selling more in the rest of the world and but the Wii u is not
So it is all relative - 19 k greatt for Japan but really doesn't get the Wii u much closer to critical mass- A few weeks over 100 k worldwide this time of year will help though
Could you direct me to any link or otherwise that Nintendo says they are selling the Wii u at a profit. According to Iwata ( the most recent investor Q and A) the Wii u is still being sold at a loss w the exception of last years remaining inventory that was already written down)
