The statement was from a random fan on a fan based web sight
The developer never said that, yet the moron (editor of Nintendo Enthusiast) writes an article attributing the statement directly to the developer in quotes no less -
This guy is a journalist?? How did he ever come up w an article on such a faulty premis?
Some of these gaming sites are just embarrassing w the quality of work they do and the quality of people they have- get ...
That does not make much sense as far as the Wii u goes- if VC games are important to someone then they should just keep thier Wii and take a pass on the Wii u?
Hasn't this game been released multiple times over the last 8 or so months?
Are 3rd parties supposed to throw their money away putting games in the Wii u?
I have and will continue to buy many 3rd party games on the Wii u but many people do not - just lok at the sales- I want more 3rd party games very much but blaming them for not running thier business into the ground and blowing their investors money is juvenile
If Nintendo defended thier console ( and the customers who bought them) like MSFT and Sony defend thier own then we wou...
I hope they do increase the amount and variety of games for thier own platforms -but until they do they will need reasonably healthy and quality 3rd party support - Until they either build capacity or get the 3rd parties on board they will continue to lose money most of the time-
They are not ALL gimped and they still fail to sell- of third parties thought they could make money on the Wii u, they would be putting their games on it
If Nintendo thought 3rd party game would be successful they might be more aggressive about getting them - No matter all the fanboy excuses there is not nearly enough evidence yet that the risk reward ratio will be worth it for most 3rd party games -
As a Wii u owner since launch I m disappointed that Nin...
Wii u owners don t ever need to boycott 3rd party games because it would be difficult to sell less than they have in the past already
Instead they should try to prove to Slifhtly Mad and/or other developers that they made a mistake by showing how many of the games the Wii u can sell- there are tons of examples of disasterous 3rd party sales on the Wii u - that has not helped our situation at all-
So try something dif for a change and buy more of this gam...
When is Mintendo going to get more VC games up on the Wii U? People wonder why 3rd parties don t put their games on the Wii u - but they could ask Nintendo the same question - They appear to finally be close to getting retail games out at a respectable pace ( we hope - we will only know when if it happens - they have made the claim before) but what do they have against the VC games? If they put enough good ones up on the Wii u they would bring in revenue and might even move a few cons...
Nifonge- do you know what it means to "infer" ?
It is pretty clear what the article was inferring/saying
Myamoto said Project Guard and Project Giant Robot will probably be part of Starfox so that is really 1 game not 3
I was referring to the timeframe leading up to late Sept
The games you are referring to are late sept thru 2015
Do you still use leaches when you get sick? (:
Sounds really cool- I hope it makes it to the wiiu I'll try it
So no games in June, 1 game in July (one piece unlimited ), no games in August and 1 game late September - the 1st half of the year we had Dk, 2 Lego games and Mario Kart ( what retail games am I missing - decent games?)
It s really hard to get and or maintain momentum w release schedules like this- The Wii u could have done better leveraging MK8 and e3 with a more consistent release schedule now thru the holidays
I guess the upside is we will have optio...
I wish we could get saints row on the Wii u
The Wii U is doing better now but it is not "over the hump" yet. Even the biggest Wii u pessimist expected console sales to go up w the release of MK8. So the hardware bump was hardly a surprise - I think the new optimism is due to a combination of the (ok so far) hardware bump from MK8, the impressive software sales from MK8 and the new attitude Nintendo seemed to unveil at e3- If the new attitude of Nintendo corporate is a real and lasting trend then we know they will keep u...
I was very surprised how few shares some of the board members owned- very surprising but maybe that is more common among publicly traded co s in Japan
It should have shipped w a range similar to a typical household wireless router -
As it is now our game pad won t work outside the room the console is located
Me too - if they had made it w a better range and better batt life (among other things) from the start it would have helped the game pads reputation
It is like Nintendo committed to the game pad half way in the beginning and now are trying to catch up
Is it not possible for this article to be corrected and the title fixed?
How can the developer be quoted for something it did not say?
I m looking forward to the game coming out on the Wii u
