it's Crisis Core Reunion on PS5. I don't think anyone is expecting the graphics to be compared, but the design and to compare the same scenes between the two games.
"Why would he release those AAA on series X or X2. He needs to sell systems for the X2 and try and make the Series X somewhat relevant this gen right? Why would he jeopardize that putting this games on PS?"
Because he talked about what makes sense for the business. Business sense says release some older stuff on the other consoles and get more sales. It's the same thing Sony is doing by releasing older stuff on PC. The priority for Sony is PlayStation, but ...
That's how you spend 20+ minutes talking and actually say almost nothing.
"The most/biggest/largest thing ever!" Xbox has been using that trope for over a decade.
Do they have different actors based on the rating?
An age rating has a voice actor?
We should get a talking point bingo card ready.
Has there been anything leaked or is it just some guy on a podcast saying stuff?
Says some guy on an Xbox podcast.
It's like someone's just throwing out any possible rumors now. Not long ago there was articles about Xbox next-gen being late. Now it's early. Xbox is going multi-plat and abandoning consoles. Now it's back to supporting consoles.
Oddly, the ads have disappeared on N4G for me a week or so ago at work, and there's no ad blocking stuff being used.
I think Octopath Traveler has shown there's still interest in turn based RPGs. I get if they don't want to go back to that for a mainline game, but no reason it couldn't be done for a spin-off FF game.
"(Sony only requires PS+ if the game is F2P)"
I think this is just misusing F2P as PS+ isn't required for F2P. F2P being stuff that's actually free like Fortnight and Apex Legends. COD and the like requires PS+. I'm assuming the other exception is stuff like FFXIV where you have to pay a monthly fee specifically to play that game since Sony might be getting a cut of that fee already.
Why do this based on rumors?
Yeah, but there's a lot more. They're not getting into any story stuff and they're very limited on what they can show until launch.
They're not taking anything. They're licensing the right to do it. Just like you purchase the license to download and play your games.
Where's your complaints about Steam taking other people's work and selling it?
WTF? Every video on the page auto played.
"Larian Studios does technically have a single shareholder in Tencent—which owns around 30% of the company. However, an important piece of context is that Tencent appears to own what's called a "preference" share, meaning that Tencent doesn't have voting rights when it comes to Larian's decision making. The rest of the company belongs to CEO and Founder Swen Vincke and his wife."
I just watched a video from an environment artist who worked on Forza Motorsport and he talks about this 18/6 contractor thing that MS uses. Work for 18 months, and then you go away for 6 months. He talks about him being there for a pretty short time and his mentor in the role messages him that his contract is about up so big responsibilities are going to fall on him now. I had never heard about it, but no wonder Microsoft studio games just lack passion.
