" Ive been saying this for like 2yrs, and getting nothing but blind defense from people like you."
Same here. It's good to see the tide turning a bit.
Aren't they just reusing the original voice tracks?
Since there's two worlds, I'm guessing each of them is the result of the choice.
When they come out, they might.
Looks like a Don't Starve with some story elements.
That 15 fps animation style is going to take a while for me to get used to, especially with everything else being 60.
"Its straight up single player story goodness."
Yes, because no one has ever put live service elements into a single player game. I'm convinced!
I liked the first one more than the 2nd, but I seem to be in the minority on that opinion. For the 2nd game, I didn't like the characters as much and was quite a bit shorter.
Yes, but still only outputs at 4K. The 8K was for video, but that doesn't seem to have been enabled either.
Yes, it was support for the video, but apparently it still isn't supported.
@DivineHand125
Yes. All of the ones on Xbox since the beginning. I even have the original Best Buy demo copy and FM2 limited edition that they didn't even sell in the US.
I dunno. Might actually be better than Forza Motorsport 2023 was at launch.
Wonder why they'd chose 9 instead of 6.
While I think this stuff should not be forgotten, I don't think you can really put that all on the dev. The people in charge (publisher) are the ones who decide when to release the game. If it was up to the dev, it wouldn't have been released until they were ready.
Yeah, being so slow to do things is kind of annoying. I'm at the end of the game and I was upgrading everyone's weapon to max level, and if I did it all in one sitting, it'd probably take 45 minutes to do. I would have loved the auto advance dialogue if there wasn't such a delay in moving on to the next line when it reached the end, but oddly works great if you press the button to advance the on-screen text. I just HATE that you get the sound effect of the button press with...
Sure hope they can work out the performance issues on PS5 and take care of some of issues with the draw distance of things like shadows.
I'd think there's a chance PSSR and frame-gen could yield better upgrade performance for PS5 Pro than PS4 Pro did if this is how well it's going to be working on consoles. I'm curious about input latency though.
"Ninja theory isn't exactly known for their technical excellence in graphics up to this point."
I sincerely hope you're getting confused with some other dev. They were getting best graphics nominations for Senua's Sacrifice and some of their past games looked very good at the time, including Heavenly Sword.
Hopefully DF will end their relationship with Eurogamer and just put their articles on their own site going forward.
I don't think anyone is looking for Sony to lay everything out there, but at least announce something. Right now I only know of Wolverine and I think it's fairly well known Ghost of Tsushima is getting a sequel. Other than these service games, just give us a glimpse of one or two games so people have something to look forward to.
