While I'd guess they're probably not going to do much else about it at this point, just because they're working on the sequel doesn't mean they can't have someone working on the visual issues for Rebirth. Likewise, it also doesn't mean they're not working on a DLC for it either.
Either way, I'd put money on it that they'll update the game for PS5 Pro.
What will he blame next week? I'm guessing bad coffee.
10 years of "just wait, it's coming." Formerly "wait for E3"
Same here. I disconnected everything and pulled the batteries out of the controller a while back after they confirmed no physical release for Hellblade 2. That was the final straw.
360 was good until Kinect, and it all just fell apart. I think the last 2 years before Xbox One were pretty barren.
"Am I out of touch? No. It's the customers."
Isn't store shutdowns really a different issue though? As I understand it, shutting down the store isn't removing your ability to play the games. The Xbox 360 storefront is shutting down in July, but they've confirmed you can not only still play your games, but download stuff you already purchased. Same with the Wii. Store shut down years ago but you can still download your purchases.
Yeah, but at least with physical I still get the coaster. Digital you get nothing!
And here goes people's short memory of what Bethesda is these days. Years of being shit and dumping crap on their customers, and people still lining up and wanting more.
edit: wrong thread
I almost miss twitter for Fake Kaz.
Is it because UbiSoft are incapable of evolving and just put out basically the same game over and over again?
Yeah, sounds like better Ray Tracing and better resolutions and upscaling.
edit: with PSSR, it'll be interesting to how well it upscales. If there's already a 60 fps performance mode, it could be used to bridge the image gap between quality and performance modes.
"Could be the refresh console perhaps?"
The Series X one, yeah. That was my thought, but why would it need a dev kit? They're changing something. Maybe it's just some minor bump like the One S last gen.
@darthv72
Yes. Even for anyone who hasn't played, it's worth checking out the intro section of the game with headphones on to get a sense for what it's like. I ignored the suggestion when I played and thought surround sound would be good enough, but when I dug into the developer diary videos about making the game, I finally checked it out and regretted that decision.

"hidden nerf" when it's right there in the description.
I hope I don't need to install FF7R just to get this. Not sure playing just Intergrade on my PS5 is going to cut it Leviathan.
On the plus side, the Collector's Edition I ordered was sent with standard shipping. UPS shows expected to deliver on Friday, but it just arrived at the UPS facility a few miles from my house, so looking like tomorrow delivery is likely.
Big issue for me have been the whole tone of Sony under his leadership. They got so secretive about everything. Stopped attending shows (some may point to COVID, but I think they just used that as a crutch to support their pulling back), put a heavy emphasis on GaaS, and then the whole message of "we believe in generations," shows off games as PS5 games to build hype completely hiding any mention of PS4, then later says, "oh, it's also coming to PS4."
Yep. Chasing that huge cash cow constant stream of big money for little effort at the detriment to focusing on quality content that people will buy. The quick buck is a gamble, and all too often it doesn't pay out and they get burned for it.
They did a Remaster for Crisis Core, which seemed near impossible due to a licensing issue not too long ago. I wouldn't be surprised if they do the same for Dirge of Cerberus before part 3.
I do worry what they'll do with part 3 though. They're not just going to abandon the nonsense. Rebirth was like 98% fantastic, but those whispers moments and their take on what is one of the most iconic scenes in video games ever just upsets me.
