Pretty much agree with all of that.
Indiana Jones looks alright, but I lost all interest once Todd Howard showed up and said he was executive producer on it.
Really? Those idiots. And here I was wondering if there'd be a collector's edition with a Senua statue.
Gives me fantasy Outer Worlds vibes.
If they did that, then people would probably expect it to work on the PS4. Maybe that's why it's called Remaster, to support their decision to only have this on PS5.
Same. It's been about 2 years now. Don't see any reason to change that now.
My original didn't last a year before stick drift took over. (edit: actually, don't think it made it 6 months since I first experienced the drift in AC which I started playing around January after the PS5 launch). I bought the black one as soon as it came out. Now it doesn't last a day's worth of gaming.
Sounds like the modder has to go in to make changes to unlock it on a game by game basis. "Simple" enough to do it unofficially, but to have it done officially, they need someone to go in a make that change, put out a patch and put it through certification, which I believe is not necessarily a cheap thing to do. It's questionable if going through this would then give them enough sales to make it worthwhile.
Now? It's been this was for quite a while now.
edit: for evidence, look through the comments here when it was revealed that you can chose your pronoun in Starfield.

"And just like that, Starfield not looking too good anymore."
Twice as many upvotes as downv...
I never knew anything that got uploaded was shared in any way. I always thought it went to my onedrive account and that was it.
The problem isn't that there's nudity in the game. You can take the clothes off and have the characters running around nude the entire time if you want. I don't think there's that much control over when to disable captures. It's pretty much an on/off switch built into the game for cut scenes. The problem is MS setting the auto upload of those captures by default and having no warning system in place to let people know they shouldn't include nudity. I always assume...
Playstation doesn't automatically upload your captures by default
Damn mooches can earn their own gear!
Other outlets are up front about their doubts as well. It isn't just IGN.
Yep. So someone took 3 short clips from a single scene and got 3 strikes adding up to a year ban. Admitting it wasn't automated makes it look much worse.
I can't wait for the DF recap of the "developer underscore direct"

The Steam numbers are telling because those are all from people who paid for the game and have more incentive to have their money spent be worthwhile. Yes, the GP numbers will be higher due to no added cost, but there's even less incentive to keep playing there.
Then maybe they shouldn't turn it on by default or limit who can see it on M rated games. But I suppose that means their violent M rated games no longer get the attention, and can't have that.
Baldur's Gate info is a bit older now and there's over 10 times as many people, on average, playing on Steam than Starfield. BG3 is holding up while Starfield has been falling off. Not to mention BG3 since released on Xbox since those BG3 numbers. How do you think those numbers would look with current info?
And every time the game comes up since that review, he's said he was too kind on the game in his review and probably should have gotten an even lower score.
You do realize that not everyone has game pass, right?
