It does feel a bit odd having everything level along with you. Also, seeing someone 20-30 levels below you in the same fight holding their ground because the same level 50 mob is only 20 to them.
Their PC recommended specs are pretty much console equivalent with extra RAM. Going off of what Todd says (lol, I know), it probably will run at 60fps in some spots, but probably won't be stable.
Do you have anything that confirms ray tracing is being used? The article says it doesn't look like it is.
"The global illumination doesn't appear to be a per-pixel solution based on ray tracing from the shots in the trailer"
It's interesting that the recommended specs are pretty close to what DF found to be PS5/Series X equivalents. I haven't been looking deeply into the game, so I wonder if they're skimping on some of the bigger features to make it look even better like ray tracing. If not, I'm guessing the PC master race people will be pissed that the game is being held back on PC by consoles.
@KingKionic
Yeah, service being the thing. That's still not a reason to require it to be always online. If you want the added tracks and events, you'll have to connect. Server being down for whatever reason or the users internet having issues shouldn't keep someone from playing the game by themselves.
Which was also a BS reason.
Honest question. Do you live under a rock and live completely unaware of issues pretty much all the "always online" games run into, especially at launch? It isn't always about your internet connection.
You know it will get delisted due to licensing issues after a few years. Do the previous FM games still work online after being delisted?
Gosh. I wonder how racing games in the past added tracks and events without requiring always being online. I'm sure it's one of life's mysteries we'll never work out...
Good for you.
Just sayin'
The more I hear, the more I'm disliking.
- Having to earn experience points in a car to unlock certain mods. You just know you're going to take a car, race it up so you can modify it and not like it. Now you've got time sunk into a car you don't like and now have to spend time on another car (or multiple) to see if it drives the way you want it to.
+ Adding new events to the career (awesome!)
- Taking away events from the career (bad!)
...
I think it's a 9th gen i5.
Glad I'm not the only one who thought Keanu sounded off. It almost looks/sounds like he lost a tooth.
So, the amount of bugs in 5 or 6 games all bundled up into one? Will this be the 16x the detail comment?
What's the EA stuff? I think I'm out of the loop.
Mmmm. The start of the meme quotes if it all goes wrong. Hopefully not, but here's a quote to remember.
Yep. I don't think they specified if this was captured on PC or SX, but the framerate didn't seem completely solid (still better than the last showing). My 4070 is better than console, but my CPU is probably not up to the task, so I'd probably have framerate issues.
Has there been any Xbox 40fps games yet? I mean, meant to run that, on purpose.
MS says it's one of the most important RPGs ever made, LOL.
annoyingly, sometimes they seem to brush off a stun and take off leading me to try and get my horse going to run him down.
