Alex from DF showed it horrible pausing in the transitions, but doing a 2nd run through those sections worked really well. He suggested they could do a sort of pre-load thing to RAM (sorta like shader pre-compilation) and it'd be perfectly fine.

Kind of hard to say either way without examples of these troll comments. I mean, I'm sure there are legitimate trolls out there targeting him, but also probably a fair amount of valid opinions being sent his way that he doesn't like.

Isn't that kind of handled by the game already anyway. Highlight a game and the background and music change. I guess the only thing they'd really have to add is switching icons, for those that can be changed.
Aren't sorcerers the one that has a glyph or two that you can't really use because there isn't enough nodes in range to make use of the extra boost?
Or enjoyed what was good about it and bailed after realizing there was no reason to keep playing and before they made it worse.
I think that's about where loot stops advancing. I had to switch my build/layout in order to keep going and I made it up to 90. Got frustrated with the boredom of doing the same nightmare dungeons over and over, for what? That next paragon point? I even stopped getting loot that had some of the imbuements I use. I had some temporarily in a wrong slot after redoing my skills and paragon board and then the stuff stops dropping completely. I'm so glad I stopped playing a couple wee...
I agree with you that it's misplaced to blame the use of the same engine, since most engines get iterated on over time and not scrapped and rebuilt from scratch (anymore), but that list of "new" features doesn't seem very impressive.
Do you need to make changes to the game engine to use photogrametry textures?

How is it a massive improvement? Going from 2 games a month you keep as long as your subscribed to games getting swapped out 2-3 times a year with no clue on how many games will be changed over?
I read it as 2-3 times per year, but no idea how many games will be switched out. Might be one at a time or maybe 4-5 games at a time.
Only updates a few times a year, so you're going to go months with no change. $1 more for full game pass, I don't really see the point of this other than to make GWG people pay more.
Ooof. I hate to see Alan Boiston tied up in this. I like his takes on his channel and hope it doesn't influence or keep him from commenting on it in his own channel.
To be fair, this is an early version for a game coming next year. It was probably too early to be showing live gameplay. Then again, I never really had much expectation from this game anyway.
