The minimum wage was bumped up to $3.80 April 1990 and went up to $4.25 a year later. In the 60s it was $1.60 by the end of the decade.

Remember when people blew up over $2.50 horse armor? We were on the winning side. Now $20-30 for a cosmetic set? People lap it up. The prices are what they are because people let it happen.

True, but a factor in that was there just wasn't as many games made compared to today either.

@mandf
They were more than that. I remember them being $250. Wiki says $200 and up.

There was a Breath of Fire game and I think RC Pro Am 2 cart I saw that were $90 back in the day. Pretty sure Neo Geo games were $250.

The horse armor is a bargain at this point.

Important? In what way? For those few pixels your character takes up on the screen, these cosmetics are important?

Similar, but now I've had so much bad AC, I don't want it ever again.

Supposedly 15-20 hours.

It was originally going to be DLC for Valhalla that got changed into a standalone game. We don't know if this is just going to be a one-off or the future of AC games.

I think DF Weekly said it was in the 20 hour range.
I don't think I minded the time in the recent AC games so much, but the massive maps with so much wasted space with nothing there. I think it was the last one, there was a huge section that didn't even have wildlife, for some reason.

More importantly, I hope the smaller game can reduce the bugs. They've had a constant problem with objects floating in the sky or underneath something else so you can&#...

What is the problem with announcing earlier? As long as the game is given the amount of time it needs and launches when ready, what's the problem?

It was solid. The few issues I noticed the first time I didn't have the second time. The second one seemed a little too easy though, except for the world event. The one time I joined we only got it down to the first mark on its health bar before it was over. I'm probably going to give it a month though. I had one mission where the objective didn't update. I had to look it up online and found it was broken on the first beta as well.

Memorable, but for me, memorable for the wrong reasons.

I thought that was interesting as well. Does bluetooth have the bandwidth for lossless?

Longer development time between FM7 and this than GT Sport and GT7. When you take longer than Polyphony, that's something...
Looking forward to it, but I'm also really worried about a big shift in focus to it being more like GT Sport and more of a service game.

Agreed. Just one new announcement would have satisfied me. Hell, even a trailer for Wolverine, Factions, FF7, DS2 would have moved the needle a bit.

But fresh

@meanmallard

"Would you have honestly preferred if they would have done like that other company that did a whole show of games that hadn't even started development?"

I said one of them. Not all of them. Just one. Surely they have something coming next year, right? Is 12-18 months really announcing things too soon now?
