We all knew/know that, but why are they so secretive the last few years and not showing us what's coming? So many studios and we know so little of what's being worked on. Had they just announced one of those with a quick teaser trailer from one of their big studios would have gone a long way. Instead, we got Spiderman and a Gran Turismo movie trailer.
I'll forgive them for no Wolverine since the focus for now is on Spiderman, but I would have expected some sort of an early announcement trailer for one of their exclusive 2024 games.
Sony really has to quit being so secretive and not showing stuff.
If it wasn't for the online shooter aspect of it, that looked pretty neat.
Was it though? That came across as some sort of nature "there's always a bigger fish" metaphor and just showed Snake at the end. What happened with the James Bondish, cold-war aesthetic the game is known for? No Kojima and I have zero faith Konami has anyone that can do the game justice.
I'm more interested in the MGS1-3 Mastered Editions (is that what it was called?)
Agree. Plenty of it looked neat, but just something lacking, or you got stuff that just feels like it's trying to copy something else. Foamstars ripping off Splatoon? That MGS reveal. The tone is completely off. Should have been kind of classic James Bondish, and instead we get some nature "there's always a bigger fish" thing. Oh, and show Snake at the end. I'm sticking with no Kojima, no care.
Just for the sheer number of games, I'll say it was a good show. For me though, nothing stood out for me that I think I'll be picking up. There's certainly plenty of things that look good there, but just not for me.
Completely with you. Price isn't too much of an issue for me, but it's more than I want to spend for (currently) very few games I'm interested in. Add some Half Life Alyx and some more big hitters, I'm in.
Is it 12 now? I thought it was 10.
But it does sound all plausible.
I don't think they could come off as "PC Master Race" more than this if they tried.
Didn't plenty of other devs prove that already while EA was trying to abandon single player games?
There is a dark mode. Has been for years. On the front page, scroll all the way down and it's in the lower right.
That's the redesign? I use dark mode, and I legit can't tell what's actually different other than some menu for N4G Unlocked.
Nah. Probably too soon for gameplay. If it's shown, you just know it's going to be a weird cutscene video.
MGS3?
How do they leave off Chvches?
The game was such a mess at launch and so many little things gone wrong, it was comical what they'd let slip in and Brutal AI on certain race types. Like anything else, a lot of it has been cleaned up, but can't fix the dullness of the map. Now if they'd just make the weekly updates interesting.
Kind of odd. I'd check Steam numbers now and then and was always surprised at how close FH4 was to 5. Now it's all roughly double what 4 has (now, 24 hours and all time). I can't work out why there'd be such a recent shift. Going off of memory, it looks like 4 numbers are down a little, but 5 is up a decent amount.
Can't be that bad if MS kept Octopath Traveler off of PS.
Playstation Stars related, maybe. I didn't notice it.
