Friends who refused to even TRY Demon/Dark Souls are having a blast with Elden Ring and I think will finally give the original series a try. In my experience - yes its absolutely a great intro for players that worry about difficulty being prohibitive.
Im at about 130 hours in and still have much of the Mountaintops of the Giants area to explore. Its definitely a LONG game, but with reasonable pacing I have avoided "burn out" for the most part. Some of the reuse of enemy types is a bit annoying, but still in love overall

Really wish they would add in the ability to compare items at venders, etc. Its minor but I feel like the number of times I have to basically back out of a menu to open an entirely different menu and vice-versa is a bit annoying.
Im not a big VR guy, but I was blown away getting to try out the Valve Index on a buddies machine. The individual finger tracking in Half Life Alyx was nuts.
Does the PSVR stuff allow for that too? Like actually grabbing items, etc?
