The mimic tear and whatever one allowed you to die and not lose souls progress really made beating it a question of time/caring rather than pure skill imo. Surprised so many people rage quit it

Had the same exact thought. Its a nice looking controller but that MSRP seems like its set purely to setup to get ~30% discount sales pretty quickly. I think around a $120-140 price point and people would be all over it.

Everything I’ve been reading seems to have the dodge mechanic near the center of most criticisms. It sounds like a gameplay element that was simply unrefined or feels out of place.
I’ll definitely be grabbing this to try it once it drops in price, but it sounds clear that something is wonky with the finished product
So tired of ray tracing everything. Minimal visual gains for MASSIVE resource tax. How anyone would opt to play that at 30fps instead of 60 is beyond me

Oh I loved using my switch for BoTW, Odyssey and MarioKart (and perhaps a few others) - but after the first few months I personally found myself back to my PS5 or PC.
Its not a bad console at all, I personally just think Nintendo's catalogue just runs thin for me personally pretty quick each generation.
