This really highlights how far off base blizzard is here. Not only do they not appreciate the seriousness of the issue, it’s clearly a joke to them
I feel like the internet doesn’t realize how computationally demanding native 4k can be
Saints Row gameplay made the game "good" imo. It didn't do any one thing exceptionally well, but had a lot of gameplay elements that were strong enough to make them an enjoyable package.
That said, I must be mis-remembering the original games because I dont recall ANY of the characters or humor involved being terribly memorable. Seems like the author is just overly adverse to change here honestly.
Im looking forward to seeing the end produ...
I mean, if we are talking hypotheticals like what the article suggested - im just saying having Microsoft counter by making an Xbox exclusive Batman game... id be pretty pissed since I dont plan on buying an xbox.
as primarily a playstation gamer - that would be unfortunate since I LOVE the DC/Arkham games. I dont think the Sony exclusive portions for the Marvel games is good either tbh. I feel like first party exclusives make sense, but to do it with something as big as the Marvel Universe is a very slippery slope.
Oh we’re all screwed in the long run. I imagine the west will soon adopt many of the absurd enforced censorship laws that the Chinese government is coming up with right now
So absurd. China continues to move backwards
On sites like this there is no middle ground between fan and fanboy. Putting a qualifier on them will IMMEDIATELY bias them in the eyes of the reader. This article was purely trying to get a rise out of both sides because they knew they wouldn’t get clicks without provoking either the MS or Sony base
Ugh @ "Xbox Fan".... Fanboyism is stupid. We should all be celebrating advancing gaming for the gamer, and not "pledging allegiance to a hardware company".
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk
Oddly enough, "Mjollnir" translates to Diabetes
Level design was so cool in the old Souls games - im not going to lie, forcing some Tower type map unlocking system is a bit concerning to hear, but only time will tell if the 2 models play nicely together
I’ve just stopped trying to get one because there simply aren’t enough MUST PLAY games out yet. I’ll hold off on any honeymoon until the actual stock returns and some of the big games come out next year
Holy hell do we live in the age of remasters. Maybe if people would stop buying this stuff, these companies would decide to prioritize new games
"Kill Meee"
I mean, the machine clearly had significantly smaller heatsinks than the original unit in the teardown video. As someone who pushes their current PS4 for hours on end, throttling and heat COULD definitely be an issue down the line.
Im sure Sony did appropriate testing, but just because they wanted to save cost and weight, doesn't mean this is a "consumer friendly" revision. If they were both readily available, I would absolutely buy the original since heat is...
Probably will be the reason for me to finally track down a PS5 - I am so excited for this
Im not a big sim guy, but that is actually pretty damn cool. I still cant really wrap my head around just how large that game must be. (and yes I have seen a globe)
The question is literally framed “Now”. I have no doubt the library for new gen games will get there, but right now I’m fine replaying some good last gen games for cheap while we get thru the glorified “tech demo” phase of any new console launch
because we have put such a premium on graphics and pixel counting, that we have been left with a push to make all these 4k 60fps shiny turds for $70 rather than anything truly amazing. There just aren't that many compelling "new games" when old school classics are still so accessible.
Why is it that the more expensive the watch, the uglier it looks?
