Yeah once they grow up and realize they got to sit down and play stuff with the guy who created some of the best video games of all time... wish I got that opportunity when I was a little kid
I think they're a nice addition, but it needs to be limited a bit more than what it is now. You get too many people unleashing dogs and they're everywhere. You spend to much time melee-killing them to shoot at enemies
I think on the campaign side of the things, the addition of 4 player co-op might be enough, with the solid multiplayer, to make people hop over and pick this one up.
Hahaha. Yeah, the attack dogs are a bit unbalanced. Hopefully they rework that a bit for the final release
Based on what I've seen with the beta on such, I don't think it's a step backwards. While Modern Combat is much desired, the gameplay in CoD5 is done very well and provides a good deal of fun
It's just a sad fact that most game developers neglect the PS3 when it comes to betas. Activision with CoD4 and CoD5, Capcom with SSFIIHDTR, etc. The only real Betas you see on the PS3 are for Sony games.
PSN gets the short end of the stick, just like with CoD4. The beta will be coming to PC shortly, but that's it.
Yeah, I think you may be right. CoD4 will probably remain close to the top of the Xbox Live ranking chart, even after CoD5 ships. Treyarch used the same engine, some online lobby and ranking/perk system. It essentially is the same game, just with different maps, weapons, and player skins.
I was very surprised at how much fun I had with the Beta. It feels almost exactly like CoD4, just set back in WW2. I didn't have as much of a problem with the old guns and such as I expected.
I find it funny that they tell you a small patch takes 20 minutes or more to install. How is that acceptable?
While this gets it to work, having to uninstall and reinstall the game is a pain. Hopefully they fix the issue fairly soon with a revised patch
Oh it definitely prints money. I think now that demand has died down a bit, we'll start seeing more games take advantage of the system
Yeah, Tiger Woods has done it for me too. It just works so well. I think games like The Conduit will also give a lot to the Wii. Also looking forward to MySims Kingdom and Animal Crossing
I think Nintendo fanboys might try to argue against this, but the fact is that there has been very little in terms of decent, solid games on the market for many people to play on a regular basis
Yeah, most people that aren't really into gaming are buying the Wii for the same reasons they buy a new brand name piece of clothing or accessory. It's a social status item that you want to have in your living room to show people when they come over.
I have to say that I've actually been using my Wii a lot more lately, which is really the first time I've given the console a good amount of play time. There's finally some games that I think are worth playing on a regular basis for ...
Oh I bet. It always happens. In a story about a Spore patch on Mac breaking things, people are arguing about PS3 and 360. Yep.
Very happy the fanboy comments that usually happen over here haven't built up. I'm gaining more faith in the N4G community :)
Same thing happens on the PS3. It will site in your download queue and not download anything if you're playing an online game on the PS3. There's a few games that have persistent connections, so just launching the game will pause your downloads.
While I like that idea, I bet a lot of people would complain, going with the "paying for demos" angle and demanding it not take up space on their XMB. Maybe it's own tab in the PlayStation Store where everyone can download each episode? That way, one-time buyers and subscribers can just go and grab whatever episode they want.
Yeah, Ravi was a debacle. From early reports, though, I'm hearing that Wii Music is actually a lot of fun. Haven't gotten a ton of hands on time yet, so I'll reserve my own judgement
