I like the jungle setting and 'predator Lara' but that's really about it. It was an OK game at best.
Agreed 100%.
Because it wasn't a completely pro-Sony post. It was devoid of the usual sycophantic tripe, and it entertained the idea that Xbox could actually be successful if it played its cards right. He gave Xbox an avenue. On N4G, the mere idea of Xbox success irritates this hive. Though this has been the MO on N4G for awhile, and not at all a new phenomena, I'm noticing more and more people point this garbage out.
Xbox has a chance, but it's going to have to go above and...
PlayStation has a bigger name than Xbox. Even after all these years, the name 'PlayStation' is more familiar to people. It's older and more celebrated. They've also never really had a bad generation. If I had to pick a bad generation, I'd have to go with PS3, but even it was good.
To really take the fight to Sony they're going to need lots of AAA games, and they're going to have to mix it up. They can't all be MP or GaaS games. They need thos...
Lol. Fans can be so touchy.
Dude, you should be able to tell the difference by color alone. The vibrancy of 4K vs a relatively dull 1080i. I don't know if that was hyperbole, or if you just really do need your vision corrected.
My 'friends' can kiss my ass. If they want to keep 'codding' with me, they'll have to stick to WWII. I was already averse to buying this uninspired pile, and it just gets worse the more I hear about it.
That's true, but Red Dead 2 has been in development how long compared to this?
The cross-play thing is a non-issue for most of us, but the name change is a basic feature that should have been present from day one.
I'm in no hurry to change my name, personally, but it's sort of embarrassing that this hasn't been a feature since the beginning.
Everything else isn't "pretty much identical." The X boasts a 76% increase in pixels over the Pro. Better shadows, and better AO. I'm glad you're content with your base PS4, but that doesn't make the stronger consoles pointless or insignificant.
With AAA games being $60 a pop or higher, is $100 really a big deal? Well, that depends on your current station in life, but for many of us, it's not an issue, and that talking point of "Well the X...
Don't forget River City Ransom. Making totem poles with people, tires, boxes, etc. I must have played that game a thousand times as a kid.
Mario, if you could just crawl into a pipe and die, that'd be great.
It's OK to be upset. Why you'd be upset, I don't really know, but it is OK.
It's going to look nice on all platforms, but the X (if you have one) is definitely the platform to get it for on console.
The Witcher 3 is my favorite RPG of all time, and I've heard a lot of people make this comparison, and I'm happy about it. Can't wait for tomorrow night.
OK. So you don't blend in with crowds. You don't sit on benches. You don't tail people. There are no tombs in the traditional sense. There's no 100% mission sync where you have to knock down all the pins.
It's different, yeah, but it's still very much Assassin's Creed. I for one happen to believe it's for the better.
It may have arrived just in time to edge out God of War, but that's a tall order. I personally liked God of War, but didn't love it. Still, I can appreciate why so many were enamored with it. It's a great game with some of the best combat I've seen. I'm thinking RDR2 is going to get more GotYs though.
Great news. Xbox is where I pre-ordered. Great job Rockstar and Microsoft too for that matter.
There's more substance here than any AC game ever made in terms of content.
