Someone actually used the article "GOTY Edition" referring to a possible later, more complete, less lice-infected edition. There's no way these guys could slap that on a box, but they could say "GOTYA Edition" and be much more consistent with reality.
I can't think of a bigger disaster in recent gaming history. Bethesda just doesn't care about the quality. The quick buck, sure. The quality? Who needs quality, right? Throw in a grindy system (that's not even amusing) some microtransactions, a bunch of reused assets, and terrible new ones on an old buggy engine.

I would agree and say, buy your interests. Everyone knows what both PlayStation and Xbox offer at this point, and if they don't, they can do a little research and figure it out.

I don't know what's going on with this story (never have) but I remain interested and hopeful. I'd like to add that my sustained faith in this game has nothing to do with Kojima, either.
Trying to make out even a semblance of narrative is about as easy as deciphering a hieroglyph to me. Still, it looks... cool, so I'm paying close attention.

Yeah, you're going to need to hold your buddy's hand to play this, just to make sure they don't run off and leave. Nobody wants to play this anymore. For a game in which bombs are so thematic and representative, this game sure bombed, and rightfully so.

That's what happens when something that's got plenty of flaws is lauded to high heaven. I recognize what makes the game great, but I also recognize what makes it not so great.
I think you inadvertently highlighted what many of us perceive to be an issue with the article "everything made simple." There's no complexity in these menial tasks, like eating, or cleaning your guns. They're simple, and they're simply a bore. They're superfluous and superficial asides. They're depthless and dumb.
Right. We just don't "get it" do we? We're all uncultured, uneducated, slobs who can't appreciate Rockstar's brilliance. We don't understand that we're supposed to bring our steeds to a trot so we can 'sup' on Rockstar's fine wine of a creation, for if we move too hastily, we won't be able to "take it all in" like we're "supposed to."

Look at what Naughty Dog could do with a base PS4 with UC4 and Lost Legacy. Just imagine what they could do with PS5 provided it's beefy enough. It's exciting just to think about.
