the problem with you comparing those sales charts for the 360 and ps3 is that the 360 was limited in supply 5 months after it's release....you couldn't walk into a store and find an xbox360 sitting there 5 months after it's release....the opposite has been true for the ps3. sony provided a good supply, but they have been sitting on store shelves 2 months after it's release.
