Agree 100%. I was very dissapointed with AC2. The tech was amazing but the gameplay was a huge letdown. Specially the combat. It was just too simplistic, clumsy, and ultimately unsatisfying.

What?! Even if you are a die hard old school resident evil fan how the hell is RE5 better than RE4? I can see how someone would like RE6 better, they at least got the setting somewhat right. But RE5? Its pretty much worse in every way.
Cliff arrives at Capcom:
"Ok, lets fix the series. RE6 sucked, Chris had the only good campaign. Besides, he is the best character, we just need to increase his steroid dose a little bit. If you grind, the game is easy, if you dont, the game can be tough. I didnt grind, so Sephiroth was one hell of a fight, and I was a ff vet.
I have to disagree on that one. I really got into ff recently and Ive beaten quite a few and played good amount of the rest. VII dooesnt beat VI IMO, but its an fantastic game. The materia is one of the best customization systems Ive experienced, and the limit breaks are nice too. Unlike the author of this article, I loved the story. I dont know why people dont like reach either. Im guessing its because of the MP maps. If they didnt like it because reach was more similar to COD, they will hate 4 too, cuz it has lots of COD influence.

1-While I agree that the game doesnt give enough explanation to the games mithos on the beginning, once you understand that, you find an very interesting story. 2-The whole "combat system for casual games" is BS to me. They didnt only change the characters style in DMC. The gameplay is substantialy different, the animations are crap, trickster abillities are apparently gone and the regular enemies dont offer any danger. We knew RE6 was going to suck and we know DMC will suck too. Way to go CAPCOM.
