Mixed feelings on this. Every single scene in this was in the original, so I'm assuming they only changed the visuals and sound, but the graphics really don't look that great. I'm glad one of my favorite games is getting some love, but looks kinda low effort, and POP deserves so much more
If by "development" you mean butchering, then sure. Dante went from a goofy smartass in the originals to an unlikable asshole, thats only "cool" if you're some sort of punk movement reject. Vergil went from a powerful rival to an incompetent who poses no threat, and needs to be rescued more than princess Peach. Coupled with the most tasteless dialogue I've ever seen in a game, seemingly written by some 12 yo that thinks swearing makes you cool.
I'd rat...
A lot of people don't seem to understand how gaining mass actually works. Roids don't do anything by themselves. You still need to work out regularly, and ingest large amounts of protein and carbs. So yes, her body is extremely unlikely to be attainable for a woman in an post apocalyptic setting.
You can make a case about Abby being a 1 in a 100000 case, and that's fine with me, I don't care. However, don't go around later saying X character is "unrealistical...
This is one of thoses cases less is more. Odyssey was already too big imo.
Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me
Because playing 10 hours of an 100+ hour game clearly guves you enough to judge the story.
Plus, the best you got is "masks are lame, parallel worlds are lazy"? Really? Well, if those things put you off, maybe you could have saved your money by watching pretty much any trailer, and not buying something that clearly isn't gonna be your cup of tea anyway
Well, graphics look good for mobile, and the music is as good as you would expect from a Nier game. Other than that, not much to go on
And you guys need to stop being intellectually dishonest tools.
Call your boss and say "Hey, I'm not going to work this week. My PC broke". Then later tell him "Oh, I had a PC that broke years ago. I never said "because", so I'm not lying". See how that works out for you.
Square spent years marketing this game as something it isn't, and here you are hanging to semantics to defend them. So your argument is that du...
Don't think RE4 needs a remake. It still holds up fine gameplay and graphics wise, and it's been ported to pretty much everything, so acessibility is a non issue. Code Veronica probably would have been a better choice. That said, I still love the game, so here's hoping they make enough improvements to warrant another purchase.
The game itself is fine, but the amount of crap Square Enix pulled in this project is just unbelivable.
First off, the splitting of the game was obviously a cash grab. Sure, you can "expand" on the original but at what cost? Midgar was like 15% of the original, so how many games will I have to buy here? And how many years will it take? Even SE doesn't know. And the game is short (for RPG standards) and linear? They surely could have covered more of the story w...
Oh God, a lot of talk about an divisive ending. Thats not good. As for the boring quests, I can see that, given XV had the worst side quests I've experienced in recent memory. SE really needs to step it um in this department. Get some notes from witcher 3.
Here I was thinking this would be a comparison article on 2 games that kept mostly the same formula, yet managed to underdeliver compared to their stellar predecessors. Maybe an analysis on where they fell short, Capcom's role on this, and so on. Would be a nice read.
But no, just an NPC article looking for reasons to get outraged
From what I've heard, the gameplay in the original Nier wasn't that great, but I loved Automata so much, I just have to pick this up.
That makes absolutely no sense
Yugioh and magic?
The author just has no idea what he's talking about...
"how you'll feel about Final Fantasy VII Remake won't rely on what you thought of Final Fantasy VII. It'll rely on what you thought of Final Fantasy XV"
1 - First off, the art style in XV was composed of mostly open, natural landscapes, with small towns here and there. Nothing to do with Remake part 1, which is literally one big city with a cyberpunk style.

Nice! I beat SotC on PS2, and it's a masterpiece. I was always on the verge of getting the remaster, good thing I waited. Didn't hear good things on forces, but I'm a sucker for Sonic, so I'm still interested in playing It. Amazing month!
My concerns are more on the series as a whole than part 1.
Midgar is what, 15-20% of the game? If they plan on keeping the scale, that would have to be 5 or so games, and around a decade of development. That's a lot to ask from consumers.
And if Midgar is a full game, how will they deal with the overworld, thats much, much larger? Will they split the maps and take away the option to return to areas from other games?
Just add more bosses and pull back the goddamn camera so I can see what's around me and we're good
Every scene in the trailer was on the original, so it seems to be just a graphical "upgrade" except the graphics somehow look worse than the original
