Ori $20. Screamride $40. I'm liking this new concept of pricing your games in line with their content and quality. IMO a $20 6 becomes an 8. A $40 6 or 7 like Screamride is a 7 or 8.

This makes Fable a 12. I would gladly pay $60 for it and say it's a 9. F2P makes it as good as DOTA2 - a game I have put over 900 hours into.

One 1080p screen for 2 eyes doesn't cut it. We need 2x1080p or 1x4k. Need at least 100 fps. 120 preferred. Need 15-50 tflops of compute.

That's what I'm talking about. The 57 other reviews are clearly biased. MSFT paid people to trash what clearly is GOTY. CONSPIRACY! TROLLS! HATERS!

Games with cut scenes are not a "problem" some of my favorite gaming moments come from games with great cut scenes.

God of War proves QTEs aren't a problem.

Linear stories aren't a problem either.

But when you give us 3 hours of generic popular gunplay in between boring cut scenes with stereotyped NPCs, and you lead is by the nose from A to B, making the game artificially longer with QTEs that git between minute 4 and 5 of a...

Agree, it's one thing to say as a consumer "I'm not going to try this because everyone says it's bad and I only have so many hours to play games". It was also on for people to write about their concerns about the game a few weeks before it came out. But for a website to review it without playing it is sad.

Of course it's also sad to try and get other people to ignore reviews and buy a game before you've even played it. Or to hype a game as GOT...

The length is not the problem. In fact the game is so bad, its a good thing it is short.

The Sony Hype Train needs to get off the conspiracy theories. It makes you look really dumb. 50+ sites have weighed in and the consensus is the game is mediocre to bad. Did all of these sites get bought off to trash give GOTY a 6 when it deserved a 9.5?

This is a single player game, the number of people that buy it will have 0 impact on your enjoyment. So why are you...

Nintendo should be proud of their Meta Scores. But they should be proud of how many titles they have above an 8 - not the average score. People want variety and Nintendo shouldn't be disallowing 6s or 7s to keep the average high. It would be nice if those 8s and 9s had more sales.

But I think this is really about the Sony Hype Train Express wanting to demean Meta because it gave their precious Drive Club a 70 and The Order a 65. I'm hearing an awful lot of "R...

So much salt from the Sony Express hype train. The overwhelming consensus is that the game is extremely mediocre. Get over it and stop whining about review sites being unfair or some massive conspiracy. You are supposed to be a gamer, and be grateful for reviewers saving you from wasting $60 on a short, boring interactive movie.

If you still want to buy it, go for it. There will be people that like it, just like there are some reviews in the 7s and 8s. But to pretend its...

Make the game as hard as you want, but please don't make me have to replay the entire level when I die 70% of the way through, and please don't void all my progress by stealing all of my souls/xp. I really didn't like having to spend 20+ hours to beat the 1st level and unlock any useful powers. Maybe you have a difficulty level in between "spoon fed baby" and "insanely difficult"?

Repjaws - stop your whining. The Order was ripped for good re...

Rent it, or buy/beat/return. It won't take you more then 1 weekend to finish and there is no replay value. You will be able to find used copies for $20 by next weekend because so many people will have finished it already.

Developers have the right to make whatever game they see fit. But they also have a duty to not misrepresent it in order to get people that would otherwise not be interested in the game to buy it.

In this case R@D made the game they wanted to play, and their will be a non-insignificant number of people that enjoy it. I don't have any problem with people giving this an 8 because they really enjoy the plot and graphics and the gunplay isn't terrible.

This guy clearly played a different game then everyone else.

"It’s going to be hilarious watching those same folks eat their hat."

That's going to be you, you have ruined your sites reputation and have shown you are nothing but a rabid fanboy.

That's because the Sony fan boys were so busy gushing over the GFX and calling this The Greatest Game of All Time. R@D's ears were being filled with so much BS praise they couldn't hear the concerns. Just look at what happened on N4G. Everytime someone wrote an article saying The Order might not be great, the comment sections went "LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE" and 5-10 The Order is GOTY articles would pop up. Yes both R@D and Sony fans should have seen this coming a YEAR AGO...

A 65 meta critic game is the best reason to buy a PS4? I think 20 million people disagree with you or Sony wouldn't have sold so many consoles.

You have to be kidding me TIME. When it the National Geographic review?

Just shows how much ridiculous hype this game got.

You have to be kidding? You want people to buy 2 copies of a bad game to inflate final sales as a way of showing support?

I agree this review is a fluff piece - he is actually way to nice to RAD and Sony. Go read the Kotaku review!

The game is pretty (for 800p) as long as you don't mind a bunch of FOV blur, poor movie effects and black bars. And it has really great looking cut scenes. But the plot is predictable and the characters are banal. The 2 ho...

I'm surprised Gamespot is so harsh on this. Normally I suspect they inflate the reviews for big games so as not to piss off Sony, MSFT, Nintendo, EA etc...

The Meta is 65 across 46 critics now. That's worse then Thief, Sniper Elite, AC Unity and Drive Club! I honestly did not expect that. I thought you would have a bunch of 9s and 10s because its "pretty". But when you have 3 hours of gameplay mixed with 2 hours of cutscenes and the plot is boring, the ...

Your final comment shows that you are just as bad as the Sony hype team. You are simply hating on everything released for PS4 to fuel some stupid "War". The Order deserves the beating it's getting today, and the Sony Hype team deserves to eat some crow, but there is no reason to start beating on Bloodborne. That game is from an established developer that has put out 3 very good games along the same lines. It's almost impossible for it not to score in the mid 80s.

Its amazing that reviewers aren't just blasting the game for its length. Boring story, dull characters, the game is basically on autopilot most of the time. If this is really the case how can any site give it a 9 without loosing all credibility? I would think that as gamers (not fanboys) we could all agree if a game is great or terrible. I didn't see any 50% for TLOU or any 95% for Ryze.

So much for GOTY or GOAT.

Its a good thing Bloodborn is comi...

The game is an 8, for all of about 3 hours of gameplay - thus it is a 4.
