No that's terrible. Evolve outsold it in its US launch week. With 250k in week 1, this will struggle to sell 2mm worldwide EVER. The market was expecting it to sell 5mm-10mm. Anyone that's excited about NMS needs to read some reviews of Elite Dangerous. Elite has 1% of the number of stars NMS is shooting for. They have 10x as many programmers. And you never go planet side. And its still to big and too empty. Trust me flying between planets in a straight line for 20 min is BORING! And procedural generation has never EVER been done well. I have NEVER seen procedural generation done well. Elder Scrolls has taught us that having a smaller world filled with handcrafted content is better then making things huge and empty. Ever Elder Scrolls world has gotten smaller. Daggerfall was massive and everything was randomly generated. Morrowind was several times larger then Skyrim - but maybe 1/10th the size of Daggerfall.
