Anyone that is an Elder Scrolls fan really needs to give ESO another chance. I was in Beta and it sucked. The last 2 weeks I have been playing and its the most story driven MMO I have ever seen and I've played LOTR, WOW, Conan, Starwars etc...
WW1 is a poor setting for a FPS if you are trying to be historically accurate. Infantry were primarily outfitted with bolt action rifles and bayonets, and were charging over open ground to try and capture a trench protected by belt fed machine guns, artillery and chemical warfare.
Would you prefer to play the charging soldier that can fire 1 shot every 5-10 seconds, and has to stop moving to reload? I'm guessing the most exciting part would be the dodge mechanics to avo...

Previews and reviews are there to save people from wasting $$. I agree that it makes no sense to root for a game to fail, but it makes even less sense to promise to buy a game no matter if every reviewer gives it a 2.

Destiny is massively profitable. They did not spend $500 million. They plan on spending $500mm over the next 10 years. They made $340mm in less then a year.
Why do you want it to be exclusive? Shouldn't you actually want it to be on all platforms with cross play? Isnt more players better?

I don't think many people will buy this on PS4 because of Bloodborne. It could sell really well on Xone though.
Black Bars are not going to be a major factor in reviews for this game. You don't ding racing games for having an in car HUD covering half the pixels.
Either this game has a great plot and intriguing characters or its a boring QTE/cutscene fest. Simply as that.

Stardock has bought the rights to Star Control, and the Star Swarm test that really stresses the draw calls is the engine they have announced for it. So at GDC I expect an announcement of, and demo of, Star Control exclusive to Windows 10 and Xbox One.

We can all be hopeful, but I call BS. These consoles are great, but they are 2 gens behind PC and PC isn't even close to movie quality. Im not trying to diss anyone, but 1.8 TFLOPS has alreadt been passed by a 980m at 3.1 tflops. lets not get ridiculous!
I have a lot of respect for Naughty Dog after TLOU. But this is ASININE. You are now where near photorealisim. You are no where near a good rendered movie. Just stop it. It's a tablet processor and a low end gpu. Alienware Alpha is more powerful with its I3 and 860m. Dual 980s and a eight core $1000 Intel cpu are still 10 years from photorealisim.
Forget comparing the specs, they have done the benchmarks for Mordor, Dragon Age, Far Cry etc... The difference between the Alpha and the PS4 is about the same as PS4 vs Xbox.
For Sony fan boys that want to pretend that a few extra pixels in multi platform games is all that matters - you must now sell your PS4 and buy an Alpha.
For Gamers that say it's about the exclusives, nothing has changed. If you like ISS, KZ, Knack and Drive Club, buy a PS4. If...

The Order will have nice GFX. No need to try and pump it up as best looking game of all time. You are setting yourself up for dissapointment. The game is 800p and 30 fps.
Getting really into TESO. I played beta and hated it. But I just rejoined and the story for the Dominion rocks. I'm lvl 25 and I have yet to have to grind or run a fetch quest. It really is like a new Elder scrolls. Graphics are decent, and it even runs on my laptop with a igpu (HD4400).
No one said the game doesn't look good, but you are a LONG way from photorealism. Stop trying to make a laptop CPU and lowend graphics card sound mind blowing.
Did you know the iGPU on Broadwell is as powerful as PS4? The HD5500 knocked out the new Tega X1 at CES, which is about as powerful as the Xone. The Iris 6200 will smoke a PS4. Heck the Alienware Alpha is a $500 Steam Box. With an I3 and 860m it beats the PS4 by more then the PS4 beats the Xone on multiplats. ...

No you absolutely can't tell unless you pause the game, take a screen shot and focus on 1 little jaggie.
It's a stupid debate because if it's multiplatform you should be playing on PC if resolution matters so much to you. Fact is, the only thing that makes sense on a console are exclusives. All of the best games so far are exclusive to Wiiu or Xone.

I also think some of this has to do with growing up. Pretty sure if I asked my mates over for a sleepover I'd get my as kicked by either them or my wife.
We are gonna kill VR with underpowered hardware, poorly built/uncomfortable headware and BBB software made on a shoe string budget. If VR fails this time, it could be set back another 20 years like last time (or 3D). Wait until you have something ergonomic, powerful and inexpensive. Even a SLI 980 PC isn't powerful enough to drive REAL VR.
