1. Mega hit 3rd parties really matter.
2. There is a reason the Xone controller is so highly praised. It's perfection. If you want gimmicks make them optional accessories.
3. Online, online, online
4. Digital, digital, digital
5. Multimedia, multimedia, multimedia
6. Horsepower matters even if it shouldnt.
It's okay to say you don't like it, but you need to do so in a way that recognizes you are in an incredibly small minority.
I mentioned it was April 1st in a different thread and got 10 disagrees. So I think my calendar might be wrong.
I hear lots of great games are coming out of Cuba, Venezuela, Iran and North Korea.
Guys its APRIL FOOLS! You can't believe anything you read today. WCCFTech has benchmarks of a 395x2 and 990ti playing Minesweeper, and news of an 18 core AMD APU. And the comments sections are full of people taking it seriously.
5 disagrees! Guess it's not April 1st.
I think this is fine. We were expected to pay for TLOU and GTA on next gen even if we owned on PS3.
BlackTar you have no idea if it was in its most optimized setting with 0 lag. No one does. And in the parts of the world with bad broadband, they don't sell many xones. I've got 100Mbps and an option to go to Gigabit if I want. And I'm not in a top tier city.
People need to get used to the fact that the most likely these was go to 4k is streaming.
The Order was supposed to be Sony's AAA blockbuster selling 5-10 million units (per Prachter). It flopped critically and commercially. Bloodborn was supposed to appeal only to hardcore Souls fans and it is a critical and commercial homerun.
I'd like one with a 2 TB hd and no blueray drive. They could make that tiny.
Why exactly is No Man's Sky one of the most anticipated games. It sounds far worse then Elite, and Elite is bad- unfortunately I own it for PC. Procedural generation has never bee well and trying to make the biggest game of all time by a factor of 1,000 with 10 people?
Research has shown that thse VAST majority of people cannot correctly identify the PS4 version of a game from the Xone version when shown them side by side.
PS4 version will sell more because people will buy a multi plat for the system they already own. More people own a PS4. No one is going to spend $450 just for Witcher.
Not as angry as Sony fans. In reality the difference between the PS4 and Xone are so minute that only a very small % of people can correctly identify the PS4 version side by side. And you would expect at least 50% to get it right by CHANCE. In order to male a noticeable difference vs PS4, Xone would need an i5 and a 290x. Being 10% or 20% stronger is meaningless for rez and fidelity. It is marginally useful for FPS, but Xone is usually better fps then PS4 anyway.
Think a...
Skip it - wasn't good on PC. Try ESO instead. Much better then the beta.
Coming to PC due to poor sales? We will see. Same for Bloodborn. All Souls games eventually hit PC.
Is it a good game? Or do all we care about is Rez and FPS? The Order was REALLY good looking - and yet a critical and commercial flop!
LOL Remy! You want Rez over gameplay and graphics features!
Who is MOANING. I think we all realize this is GOTY so far! Its gonna make me buy a PS4 in 3 weeks!
A bit much don't you think? 100/100 means best game of all time. I get 90s or 5/5 but 100/100? Don't get me wrong I cant wait to play, but its not GOAT!
Not sure there will be another Xbox. Not because this one isn't good. It's the fastest selling, most successful Xbox yet. It's because Zone is soooo awesome. I think in 3-5 years streaming will be so good we won't need local power and Xone is powerful enough to stream 4k with all the bells and whistles.
If I am wrong then we will see Xtwo and PS5 in the next 3-5 years because NX Is Going To Be 4.6 Tflops.
Xmas 2017 sounds right based on what AMD is saying. AND expects to start selling chips to Nintendo in 2016. Need enough time for the 4.6 Tflop GPU to be affordable. So spring/summer 2017 in Japan. XMAS for US.
Why do they need this with Gugaku or whatever it was called that they bought a few years back? Maybe just need more servers? More proof that cloud gaming is the future despite what some fan boys claim is impossible.
Btw I worked at a venture capital firm when these guys were trying to raise $$. Got to see this tech very early on. Good thing I didn't make the investment. They went bankrupt 9 months later.
