If you have the new Xbox 360, the Kinect will plug straight into the special powered USB port. If you have an older Xbox 360 you will plug the Kinect into a USB port on the back and then plug in a separate cable into a power outlet. The Kinect will absolutely ship with both options and consumers will NOT have to pay anything additional for some kind of adapter if they have an older Xbox.

Won't being buying Kinect, not just the pricing of it, but the pricing of the games as well. Why would you pay for $49.99 for those games when for $10 more you can buy a a major release.

360s doesn't need the power adapter, the older 360s do.
Kinect runs off the AUX socket on the slim, USB for older 360s.
The adapter comes in the box, so no extra charge there.

I have a 16MB + speed boost connection.
360 no issues, Wii no issues, PC no issues all perform flawlessly. Yet try to watch Netflix on my PS3 and it's god damn awful experience. Swap the PS3 for the xbox and still the same.
I can stream two devices perfectly, yet I cannot stream well from netflix on my PS3.
I even swapped over the PS3 and 360 with the same dire performance on my PS3

Netflix streaming on my PS3 is dire, constant breaks while watching a movie. Never figured out why, when I can stream perfectly through my PC, 360 or Wii.
I swapped cables and god knows what, but it never improves. I have about given up trying to watch netflix on my PS3.
I have to agree with you there. Games back then were way harder than games nowadays.
