To behonest I don't think they tinker with the settings of their TV's. I think the PS3 games are brighter than the 360 games, but if you set you TV to a better contrast, brightness, and lower the color reolution then the games look exactly the same.
Not everyone likes there games to be dark and gritty that's why I think the Sony games are like this. So you can fin tune your experience on your own.

Graphically I think this game will truly show off what the PS3 can do. I expect nothing less from it (This is Sony's flagship title). I expect 1080p and 60fps.
I think they'll add the things they couldn't do on the PS2 to this version of GOW (like Giant Kratos fighting Giant Zeus).
I'm pretty sure it'll come out March of 2009. All the GOW games come out in March.

I have to agree with everyone the Wii is S***. I've had mine since launch of Nov. 2006, and I'm just starting to play it since Dec. 2006. I played Mario Galaxy, but it doesn't make up for all the months of boredom with the Wii. Wii games suck. I was looking forward to playing this, but the only game I'm looking forward to now are Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and maybe Mario Kart.

I agree it's better for Sony to cut back on the firmmware updates. Once at the begining of the month is good enough. The problem with the updates was that we recieved too many (1.1, 1.12, 1.123a, 1.123b) and most of them did nothing that would improve my PS3 experience. Not to mention Sony forced you to update, and each update took forever.

Battle Toads meets Double Dragon. That game was sooooooooo F***ing hard. It had all the things the original Battle Toads had, with extra traps. There's this one level where you're descending down a huge tunnel on a rope, and you have to jump down, but you can't see where your going until you jump. Which wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have ninja robots fighting you, people throwing ninja stars, robots shocking the S*** oiut of you you, and shooting lasers at you.

Online is supposed to be as seemless on PS3 as it is during gameplay. You just drop in to the race you want and your ready to go.
Killzone 2 was suppose to ship this February, but I think Sony is pushing back all it's new releases until March (the start of their financial period). So we might not see Killzone 2 until April based off my calculations.

Seriously what''s wrong with AOL. I have Road Runner, but I jsut wanted to know why everyone is saying don't get AOL.
The only game I've heard of is Army of Two, and you're right it is a 3rd person shooter. And what makes it worst is that they even acknowledge it as a 3rd person shooter in the article and still manage to add it to this list. If anything it should be Killzone 2, Warhammer, and Resistance: FOM 2 on this list (the only hyped 2008 FPS I know about).
THe pictures don't do the game justice. Tekken 6 looks good, but that being said it's not the best looking fighter out there. I love Tekken but as far as graphics Soul Cal. 4 is the best looking fighting game on the market. Still looking forward to Mortal Kombat and it's Gears of War like graphics.
I just realized whichever system gets this deal will get a huge increase in sales (If amazon doesn't sell only a couple hundred). This could be the deal Sony needs to catch up, or the deal to put the Wii or 360 further ahead. This is going to get ugly. I feel a catfight coming on.
I guess we'll have to see who votes more the the Wii moms or the PS2 fans (who I believe want the PS3 more than the 360 unless maybe it's the 40GB no/bc).

Why would you want the Wii or 360 they're the cheapest of the three consoles. This is a great price for the PS3. $140 vs. $400 or $500 (let's use our brains here people). I'd prefer it to be the Xbox 360 since that's the only console I don't have, but from a consumer point of view this is the chance for them to finally afford a PS3 (wonder if it's 40GB or 80GB PS3). Also I doubt it the Xbox 360 Elite (wonder if ti's Arcade or 20GB).
I pray Killzone 2 does come out in Febreary, but I have a feeling that it'll be pushed back like MGS4 to kick off Sony's 2008 finical period (Which starts after March 2008). I think Sony's just going to rely on 3rd party developers to get them through Jan. and Feb.

It looks super fast (at least 60fps), but is it me or is the game's lighting too bright. The looks like a Super Mario Sunshine setting until you see Ryu chopping off limbs. Overall though this game is gonna rock, but it's starting to get a little too gory (I don't mind death in my games, but cutting arms, legs, and heads off leaving just a torso is a little over doing it).
I was wondering what the blue light was. At first I thought it was a features added to the white PS3's. That would have been nice.
This is why we get games first in America, because we never get features like this on our systems. All we can do is pray for it.
Seeing how most of these games were rated by at least 30 different people (game critics) you would think thier collective opinions mattered somewhat. And seeing how it's more than one person rating these games it's not someones opinion, and a majority of critics opinions.
I agree their opinions and my opinions are just that opinions. However, what games after November 2006 did you play and truly enjoyed on the Wii.
