Sony has set themselves up for greatness if and when the PS3 takes off. I think Sony should stick with using the Cell processor for next gen, now that developers are learning how to us it. PSP2 with cell processor. PS4 with multiple cell processors (like-like graphics).
You don't have to wait. Sony pushed back all of it's major PS3 titles like Killzone 2, Little Big Planet, and MGS4 until after March 2008 (when Sony's 2008 financial period starts). Therefore, you can go out and buy UT3.
Don't believe me check www.ign.com .
It is. The top screen is that of the PSP. The rest is a DS.
I don't know what to buy this or MC: LA. MC: Dub was better than the previous Burnout to me. Burnout looks like it's trying to own all arcade racing games this time around, but MC: LA graphically slightly looks better than Burnout Paradise (maybe due to the sunset look of all the recent pictures). MC: LA is suppose to have weather effect like Project Gotham.
I guess in the end I'll have to get both of them.
I need to upgrade my PSP.
Just as I thought Sony's wait to launch all their major games after March 2008 (when their 2008 finical season starts). Therefore, we won't see Home & Little Big Planet until March, Killzone until April, MGS4 until May, GTA4 until June.
IGN is right when they say the first 5 minutes of the game is the same as the next 5 hours, but that's with all rhythm games. It deserves at least an 8/10 especially since it's only $5.
I wish they stuck with the water color look. The game looks good, but the first picture with Ken in the water color style looks way better than the actual game footage.
But really the gameplay is all that matters.
True PS3 owners don't buy as many games as they should. There are plenty of great games out there the ones you listed with the exception of Lair are all great games, but for some reason PS3 owners don't buy any of these games.
Look at it this way. If someone went out and bought all of those games that would be $360. That's not easy to come by for everyone. Besides most people I know that own an Xbox 360 only have that one system. They may want a PS3 but they can't afford i...
No I was being sarcastic. A lot of people say a games not AAA unless it scores 9/10 or higher, and Uncharted will be reaching that point. It's obvious that I like Uncharted if you read the edit.
"Edit. Sheng Long I though I was the only one who thought this. This game should have had online multiplayer. It probably would have gotten even better reviews, but it's still a great game."
If I was a fanboy I wouldn't own a PlayStation 3 in the first place (...
To be honest I don't want MS to enter the handheld market. I think MS saw that Nintendo was too dominate in the handheld market, and decided to keep out. Unfortunately for them Sony came and did a great job establishing their own handheld. I don't think there's room for 3 handheld on the market, there's barely enough for 3 consoles. If Microsoft did make a handheld it would be this super advance handheld that would share all third party games with the new PSP. So I don't want a Xbox port...
Finally someone who disagrees without taking hits at me for not liking the Wii anymore.
You make some very good points, the Wii is trying to be innovative, but with the types of games that are being pushed out (Offroad Extreme is a perfect example) the Wii will never be able to make me want another one.
I guess I just don't understand why Nintendo doesn't help developers make good games for their system. Every game made by Nintendo is great.

This is the PS3's first exclusive triple AAA title (even though Ratchet & Clank was one in my eyes 89/100). As of now it's scored 89/100 on metacritic.com and the last 6 reviews of this games that I've seen gave it 9/10 and higher. Let's see what happens when Killzone 2, Little Big Planet, Resistance 2, and MGS4 come out next year. My guess is the PS3 will have 4 more triple AAA exclusives.
Edit. Sheng Long I though I was the only one who thought this. This game should...
This would be AWESOME. Hopefully they can maintain everything that was good about the PS3 version when it's transferred to the PSP. 24 multiplayer, more vehicles (some aquatic vehicles), and maybe a good single player mode can be added to this version.
Nice concept, but my idea is better. The 3.2 MP camera is nice, but if they did add a camera it'll probably be only 2 MP like most other smart phones. More MP would be nice, but I think Sony would want to keep the price down to around $250-$299.
I already own the PSP demo and can say that this game is going to rock. This game is every bit on par with it's PlayStation 2 brethern, and is by far one of the best looking PSP games. I'd even go as far to say that it looks better than 90% of all last gen games, and most Wii games. God of War:CoO's MArch release date can't get here soon enough. Hopefully I'll upgrade my PSP by then.
Since you're enjoying the Wii so much what games have you actually played and enjoyed since you bought your Wii? After that what games have you actually bought for the Wii?
I liked playing Excite Truck, Wii Sports, Mairo Galaxy, Metroid 3, and Legend of Zelda: TP. But 5 games can't/won't last for a whole year.
To me (this is my opinion not what I think the world should agree with) the Wii's library of games is abysmal. To me (again my opinion) Since the Wii is...
That would suck. It better not be over $100 if they want it to sell.
Yes I'm a fanboy. I love consoles that have good video games. And since the Wii doesn't have enough I thinks it's a piece of S^@#.
I love my PS3 for Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, Resistance: FOM, Motorstorm, Call of Duty 4, Virtua Fighter 5, Assassin's Creed, GRAW 2, Ratchet and Clank, and Uncharted.
I love my 360 for Halo 3, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Gears of War, Rainbow Six Vegas, Forza, Dead Rising, Crackdown, and soon to be the Orange Box.
I love my...
The game looks decent. But it does feel underwhelming. Tekken is falling off. There are plenty of other good fighters out there. Both Soul Cal and Virtua Fighter look better. Soul Calibur has full create a player instead of customize (customize sucks just let us make a person). Soul Cal and Smash Bros. are both online, I'm sure Tekken will also be online since DR was, but I hope they improve the online setup (waiting to fight the reigning champ sucks).
So unless Tekken ...
