The guy said that there will be 4 Ai characters with you throughout most of the game, and 50% of the game is based on multiplayer. Maybe they'll have 4 player co-op.

Great for Resistance 2, if it's true (most likely it is). The boost in graphics should help it sell more this time.

It may be too late for Haze 2. The bashing the first one got will be stuck in our minds if FR decides to release another Haze. However, if they do make Haze 2 I think this list would actually help the game out, but they will have to work their you know what off to get gamers interested.
Agreed. It may get close to producing visuals on that level, but the Wii is no where near capable of pumping out COD 4, Gears, Mass Effect, Killzone, or Uncharted graphics. And it won't be able to have a much stuff running on the screen like Resistance, Heavenly Sword, and Ratchet.
This engine can probably produce a watered down version of Kameo, but nothing on par with anything after 2006.
Even based off the demo which wasn't too good I wouldn't give this game a 6/10. If the intro sucked skip it (if you can). We already know you're a solider working for Mantel to take down the rebels. If the AI is bad (which would suck in any shooter) I don't know what to tell you play it on hard or very hard. The enemies wouldn't be varied if your fighting as the Haze troops, but I agree there should be more when you're fighting against the Haze troops.

The game looks good right now. But when it comes out I want it to look d#$* good. Resistance is by far my favorite First Person Shooter, and I want it to sell well. I know for a fact the gameplay will be top notch, all Insomniac has to do is beef those graphics up to make the game sell at least 5 million copies this time.
Are all these characters acutal character or are they just extras like in SC 3. Hilde looks and seems to be an actual character that will be playable when SC 5 come out in 2010, (or whenever) but the rest of these character look like they had a bunch of people use the creat a character option and stuck the good ones in the game.

It depends on who rates it on 1up. Shane was invited to play the game at the Kojima event, and he seemed estatic, and based off what he played (which was played months before the release) he seemed to be ready to give it an A+ or 10/10. I got this feeling because he says "Even if the don't fix the minor problems like the harsh difficulty during a certian mission, I already know what I would rate this game." Believe what you want, but I expect at least a A- from 1up. ...
Hey I'm one of those fanboys however, I enjoy playing all of my systems, and I agree that this game looks interesting kind of reminds me of Sin City (Isn't there suppose to be a Sin CIty game). I've never played a black and whit game before, hopefully that won't interfere with the gameplay (not being able to see enemies would suck).
Overall the game looks great, but the cellphones in the first 2 screen look absolutely amazing.

I'm with you. Alot of people complained about the first Resistance, but to me (once again to me) Resistance: Fall of Man was one of the best shotters I've played since Golden Eye. I don't have to put any thought into buying this one. Resistance is by far my favorite FPS franchise, with Call of Duty 4 coming in at a close second. Can't wait for Resistance 2.

I expect a lot of 8.5's and 9's for this game. It's kind of like Gran Turismo, Project Gotham, and Need for Speed smashed together.
I downloaded it from the EU store, but the demo is so short you can't get a feel for the game. I mean gameplay is pretty standard nothing new besides the use of nectar. Graphics are slightly above average for next gen games. 4 player co-op works great. But you don't really get any story, you're just thrown into the jungle to kill people (which is probably why most people thinks it sucks). Why do people compare Resistance and Gears all the time. The two games are nothing alike besides the fact that their shooters that have you fending off an invasion, and launch around the same time.
To me Resistance is better compared to Halo. Where as Gears is better compared to Killzone.

This game caught my attention when it was first announced. It's good they keep putting screenshots out to keep us updated other wise I would forget about it.
If you look at the second screenshot, and look to the right of the Wardevil guy you can see a design in the wall (between the door and the dead bodies on the ground) that looks kind of like Kratos. It's right above the sandbags on the ground.

If they mean the actual game (whether it be gameplay or in engine cutsceen) looks better than the trailer then, this game will be very impressive graphically. While the trailer wasn't the most realistic looking (Killzone 2 and GeOW 2 look better), it was still as good as any AAA release on consoles so far. Not to mention once again this game has a single player campaign, a sperate co-op campaign, and 60 player online, which is a lot more important to me than ultra real...
