I've been waiting for a city of heroes like game for a while, and this looks like it could be a good one. I don't expect this until early 09, but that's fine. We may see a death match between this and Crackdown 2.
I guess it did say fps. My bad.
Agreed I've never bought a Star Wars game before, but this looks like it might be worth the purchase.
$60 is a little steep for Afrika, I need to see some more detials before I even consider dropping $60 on this. I expected it to be $5 - $10 and for Sony to make other experiences like ocean, or tokyo. But $60 is too darn much.
Well guess we'll see if COD 5, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, or GeOW 2 will bump someone off the top 10.
I'd say
Killzone 2
Resistance 2
God of War 3
GT 5
Final Fantasy 13
@1.1
even though I was not one of those people the problem is they barely beat the PS3. There were no good games for either system in May. And I'm pretty sure that sold outsold Microsoft globally which is a greater victory than in one region.
It's still a rip off the 120GB is the one that should be $65.
Sounds completely fake
I need to get a 360 so I can play some of these games.
Gears 2 :)
Ninja Gaiden 2 :)
Left 4 Dead :)
Warhound :|
Fable 2 :|
Too Human :|
Alan Wake :|
Champion Online :|
Splinter Cell :|
Yeah it's Friday the 13th on Spike network
Agreed wait for part 3.
I don't know I kind of like the yellow filter over the 06 trailer. The texture work in a lot better now, but the color pallet was better in the 06 trailer. Overall the 08 trailer looks better, but the 06 trailer had a very different look to it from any other game. I think they should have kept the color and filter, but turned it down some (look at the comparison of Snake before pressing play on the video).
I guess I don't like how the 08 trailer seems to be stuck in mid day ...
This is ridiculous. No way this game is a 2/10. If they sold the demo by its self it still would be better than a 2/10.
I hope it's easy to use. I would like to make a PS2 or PSP game, but I don't think I have enough C+ programming knowledge to make one. I always wondered why developers never made a game where you create what type of experience you want. Little Big Planet seems to be scratching the surface, but I want a game that's a blank canvas where I can make a shooter, platformer, or any type of game I want. Graphics can take a hit for this game, since it would be a lot of work to make it, but I think...
I think this is great. It kind of looks like a gaming preview magazine specifically for PS3. You also get to play little mini games, and included in betas (which is always great). I would be even better if it was free, but $25 isn't bad for the annual subscription, and I'm pretty sure their going to add more to Qore as time goes on.
Wait til Burst Limit 3 comes out, the 3rd DBZ games are always the best.
The game looks really good. I wasn't haven't been interested in this game since E3 06, but now I really want to play it. Games like this will allow Sony to bring in more casual gamers, while giving the hardcore gamers something new to play. I feel this is more of an experience rather than a game, and I think that's the direction Sony should go with all their games. Allow players to experience something ranter than leading them through a linear story.
As far as pricing goes ...
Since gamespot rated it I guess it's really an 8/10.
