You can't blame PlayStation you have to blames developers they all need to make more action, adventure, fighting, platforming, and just about every other genre of game besides shooters and racing games.
Duh. The 20GB is $60, 60GB is $80, and the 120GB is $100 at gamestop used. with a coupon and edge card they become $42, $56, and $70 which is better, but still too much. I can get a 320GB HDD for the PS3 for $70.
April 09 = April Fools Day, in other words this is most likely a lie. April 2010 would have made some believers.
However, if it is true then we should hear all about it at GDC next week, and trust me I'll be looking for it.
LMAO. That's what I was thinking too. Maybe it could be a western or a survival/horror game located in the desert.
Now if only they changed the "or" into "and" then they would have the best ever PS3 bundle, and we'd really see a sales spike.
It's not a scam, and their not crooks. All it takes is an ounce of brain power to get your moneys worth. All you have to do is make sure that your two least expensive games are the same price.
For example:
Killzone 2 $55, SF4 $55, Get Resident Evil 5 free (which was $55)
Equals an average of $36.67 per game compared to an average of $55 (total value of all games $165)without buy 2 get 1.
vs.
Killzone 2 $55, SF4 $55, get Ninja ...
I get what their saying. The article basically says that if the 360 ends up being able to run Crysis like graphics then that's another advantage that Sony loses against the 360 (along with price, online, etc...).
The thing is that while the 360 would be able to display it's true power by running Crysis, the PS3 exclusives ALL look amazing. Killzone 2 is a shinning example of everything in one package, but Heavy Rain probably has the best character models ever in a video game. ...
This is a shame 1 million is really good, but this game should have sold a lot more. Killzone 2 is a amazing game, and yet it's sharing the fate of all other PS3 exclusives. Go out and buy the game, and stop sitting there waiting until it gets a price drop.
Oh how I love this sale. I buy at least 9 games every time they have this sale, and if you have the EDGE card you get another 10% off.
Well you don't have much longer to wait GDC is only a week and a half away. And I'm sure Microsoft has plenty of stuff for the rest of the year.
Why not do it at GDC. GDC is that week (starts Monday) taking place in San Francisco, and is going on at the Metreon (about 3 blocks from the PlayStation Store).
Honestly it looks really good, and now GT5 has some competition unless they stepped their game up a lot since GT5:P. However, GT5 may still have the edge unless this game is 1080 at 60fps also.
Great list I agree with almost every game (I feel other games are as worthy), but I wouldn't have put them in that exact order.
We have no clue what they are trying to put on the disc so we can't be sure about anything.
The Virtua Fighter comparison doesn't hold up. Even though I think Virtua Fighter looks better, Tekken 6 is running at 60 fps and I believe 1080p where as (if I'm not mistaken) Virtua Fighter is only 720p at 30fps so that kind of tech could become problematic.
Secondly we don't know what modes are going to be added to the game, and the thing that could really take of space is...
It doesn't look bad at all. But lets see some more gameplay, because last time they showed it this title became a pass for me (it was extremely clunky).
No they should have started marketing back in January, and had like a series of commercials every 2 weeks, displaying tidbits (and lots of shooting) of the game until it's release making it seem like the best thing since NES.
But they didn't they threw out 2 or 3 commercials worldwide and called it a day.
Only 5 of his reasons can hold up in an argument. 1, 2, 4, 6, and 8. The others are debatable or just plain wrong.
This is nice, but they should have added a popular movie release on Blu Ray with it just to remind people of Blu Ray.
I would have put out an 80GB console with Uncharted (Adventure), Heavenly Sword (Action), Resistance: FOM (FPS), Motorstorm Pacific Rift (Racing), and Ratchet and Clank (Platformer) for $399. These are all great games, and it's been long enough for them to have fallen off the sells charts, and this would refresh those numbers. Not to mention it's to good of an ...
Split Screen would have been nice about a year ago, and trophies would have been nice when they started being implemented in games.
I think it's bigger than the PSPhone (which is what I call it). Sony is doing some much needed in house cleaning. They are pulling all their divisions together in order to share resources and bring cost down. Each division will still do their own thing, but they will all be under one Sony name, so more things like the PSPhone can be made, or PS3/PS4 games will be more cinematic with the help of their movie studios, etc...
This is what I would have done, and Sir Howard deserves...
