No curb stomp in American History X = automatic fail. It's iconic. Can you even stomp in GTA4 anymore? I remember you can in GTA3, but I haven't really melee'd in GTA4 since the melee system is lacking.
You can also ask, why is Halo so popular? There are things that are just beyond the human capacity to understand.
I don't understand why, in multi-platform games, the PC version is $50 whereas the console versions are $60. If what the developers are saying is true, that the development costs are up, shouldn't the PC version also cost $60?
Or perhaps they're using the next-gen console excuse to make some extra bucks.
The new COD World at War or whatever shouldn't have that high of a development cost, but they'll still charge $60 bucks. Is that fair?
The new MMO may take away subscribers from World of Warcraft, but in the flip side, there will be many people with double subscriptions. There's plenty of people with double WoW accounts. Some even have 5 accounts.
There's some guy that plays all his WoW accounts at the same time. I'm sure you can google it somewhere.

I wonder if I can send in my PS3 and get a new one. Mine works perfectly fine, I didn't download 2.4 yet... but I want the new one that uses less power. I'm trying to save on energy bills.

I couldn't stand some of the dialogue in Oblivion. I guess it could be that I wasn't into the story. But they lacked emotion.
Thing is, MGS4 without cut scenes (if you don't rush through for the Big Boss emblem) is almost as long as some of the current 'next-gen' games WITH cut scenes. So I don't see what the fuss is all about. Yeah, the action is broken up more than the others, but it's still a lengthy game.
Plus, everytime you play through MGS4, you can use different tactics.
The world is not a perfect place. Surely, everyone on both sides of the camp should know this by now.
I don't care if you're a PS3 fanboy or Xbox360 fanboy. The FACT is that those screen shots do not look good and nowhere near the official screen shots. Does that mean the game will end up looking like that? Most likely not.
But I don't understand how some of you can sit there and say that those screen shots look good when they clearly do not. Stop being blind. Open your eyes.

How offensive. Playing a damn WW2 game is no where near what the actual thing. I hate how fat nerds who play games think they're experts on the subject matter that the game simulates. And war PTSD is nothing to joke about.

Old Snake never had second thoughts about suicide. When he put the gun in his mouth, the nanomachines caused his body to convulse like they did throughout the game. He started coughing and had to pull the gun out as a natural reaction. His hands fell to the ground and thus the gun went off and the bullet fired. That is why you see the slide locked back.

The report is saying that 87% of PS3 owners have watched Blu-ray. Obviously, many people did not purchase a PS3 just to watch movies, but that's not what the report is saying. Although I do wonder how many people did buy a PS3 JUST for blu-rays since it was the cheapest blu-ray player for a certain amount of time.
Obviously they would make concessions like they did with the Jedi light sabers. It still would have been cool to play as Kratos though. Although, I'm really looking forward to playing as Hildegard Von Krone. She's got a long spear, a short sword, armor, and cowboy spears. I, well, love her.
Although it's annoying for people, sometimes I like briefing. It brings a whole new dynamic to the game, especially after playing it for awhile and getting bored with it. Or maybe I'm just a bully.
