Tasteless. The casualties of the Iraq war is a real and tragic event. It has no place in a (stupid) GoW2/R2 comparison.
The even sadder thing is that people are agreeing with him just because of his fanboyism for the PS3.
One quote sums up your ignorant attitude.
"War is delightful to those who have not experienced it." - Desiderius Erasmus.
I still play this game every 6 months or so. Classic gaming at its finest. The only other game to match Grim Fandango is Day of the Tentacle.
Ungrateful people. KZ2 fans who say they won't buy KZ2 unless it has split screen are like the Hillary Clinton supporters that say they will not vote for Obama or will go so far as to vote for McCain just to smite the Democrats. Idiots.
This is her first term as a governor. She has no foreign policy experience whatsoever. Some Fox news anchor put it best, although I am not sure if he was trying to be sarcastic or if he was serious. He said something like: "of course she has a lot of foreign policy experience. She's the governor of Alaska, and it's close to Russia."
McCain is "experienced," but he's gotten everything wrong so far. He thinks America is doing great. According to him, you're onl...
"go ahead and fail it. I will just have the administrator approve it." - Bloodmask
So you mean that the N4G democracy and the votes we cast mean nothing in the end?
Seriously Bloodmask, you've known that the site has been tilting to towards the PS3, just accept it or go recruit some of your X-Box 360 buddies. Tattle-telling is not the way to do it.
Forget world leaders, scientists, or other highly influential people...
That was a short and uninteresting story.
Nintendo is the ultimate company for family friend products.
The hottest according to Maxconsole. Beauty is relative.
Wow, KZ2 to have a co-op mode? That is just too awesome. Co-op rules! Looks like working together with Insomniac has had major benefits, for both parties involved.
Based upon the demo, I thought it would have gotten a low 8. But yeah 7.5 does not seem too far off. HL2's grav gun was much better than the force grip.
Force pushing a door open can become very boring. It's essentially the same as pressing a button to open the door, only you're using the force to open a door now. This game doesn't do anything that you can't do in other games or that other games can't replicate. Force lightning? Yawn. Force Unleashed was supposed to be a physics ...
Not even Bloodmask can save this game. Doom music, maybe.
I did not hype the game up at all. I didn't even know a demo was coming out til I saw it on PSN today. I tried the demo and was very underwhelmed by all aspects of it. The grav gun in HL2 is a lot more enjoyable than using the force grip in this game.
I couldn't bring myself to play it twice. It was boring for me. Take out the Star Wars story and setting and I don't think the game would well at all based on gameplay mechanics itself. I don't think it'll receive a great score whe...
Bow Wow is still relevant?
Great read. Going to take me forever to beat the game. I'm one of those obsessive compulsives that has to check every cupboard, locker door, storage cabinet for items/clues/etc.
That's giving Kotaku too much excuse than they deserve. It's not an unconscious psychological hate for the PS3, they deliberately hate it. Probably because they aren't making enough money from the web page to buy themselves one and are stuck with the 360.
Can they please make more co-op scenarios for the multiplayer? Or at least make the destination points random. It's getting boring playing the same 3 coop maps.
Where are the Korean/Vietnam war games? I'm talking quality games here, not crappy ones.
That 1911 looks a little too big for him.
When CNN or any other news outlet shows images of casualties, it serves a different purpose: to show the effects/consequences/horrors of war. You are using these images to come up with your fantasy war between two games. It's tasteless.
US Soldiers are doing a profound thing for their country, something you will never be able to do sitting in your mom's basement. Don't diminish the significance of their service by relating them to video games. The soldier in that picture is doing...
