...point me to the official statement or PR that says this and we'll update the article.

For the record, I confirmed this with EA today by phone after reading through the DLC announcement three times.

As far as quoting the MS points is concerned, that is all they provided us with in the DLC announcement. We asked for PS3 pricing and EA told us that this wasn't available yet, but would be 'in line with the MS points'.

...for your intelligent and whitty insight.

Just for the record, the Xbox 360 gets 12 DLC packs next week. The PS3 will receive only 2.

That's 10 packs difference.

This fact is plain and clear in the article, so I'm not exactly sure why you are commenting on the sharpness of my observations...

First of all, this isn't the Open Zone, so your comments at the bottom of the thread are not appreciated.

But still I have been asked a question, and a reply is what you'll get.

If you all just read the section that starts with the words "Meanwhile, take a look at the list of downloads that will come to the Xbox 360, one week earlier:", you'll see a massive list of items that are not coming to the PS3.

...and you'll see a full list of what the PS3 is missing. It has nothing to do with the date.

And especially when you realise the 100+ hours that went into making this PS3 in the first place, combined with the charity stuff.

It's deplorable.

Morpheon really deserve a lot of attention for this mod - it's beautiful.

Don't get me wrong, it's always really nice when people link to our original stories, but isn't this really just a duplicate of the story we covered back in July? I don't see what has been added to our piece that makes this new or different...

PS3 Attitude always review without passing a score.

Too many times in the past, scores have tainted the reviews given out by magazines and other sites. Remember the debarkle around Haze and IGN? Perfect example.

We like to tell you how it is and let you make up your own mind through the words, not the last 2 or 3 digits of the article.

Good of you write a counterpiece. Of course, what most people missed is that we wrote our own counterpiece called '5 Reasons Why the Resistance 2 Beta Rocks'.

Whilst my name is on this piece, it was a team effort. Half our writers loved the Beta, half of us were left deflated and had issues.

All of us were fully aware it is a Beta, and our 'outing' of the issues was borne from love for the franchise - we want to see them get it right!

Still, thanks for y...

Everyone had already answered my questions. Still, at least we were there with the like of The Times, Billboard and others to be able to ask a question.

They wouldn't answer any questions on gameplay or the instruments, but I'm sure that they already know. They will have gone 'green light' on the project before announcing it, so they know what the game is going to do. They're stringing us along so the PR machine can keep rolling, that is all.

...yesterday when we published '5 Reasons Why the Resistance 2 Beta Rocks'??

I didn't see you claiming we were trolling for hits then...

We wrote two sides to the story, and if you actually read this one you'd see that - front and centre at the top of the article.

You're entitled to your opinion.

As are we.

The two articles we put up (one yesterday, one today) open up the debate on whether R2 is good, not good or just more of the same.

Some of the team (me included) found the beta lacking. Some thought it was the best thing since sliced bread.

But please note that we know what a Beta is. And yes - we've fed back our findings to Insomniac for consideration. This half of the team were just surprised tha...

The half of the PS3 Attitude team that wrote the counterpoint article yesterday - 5 Reasons Why the Resistance 2 Beta Rocks - didn't get this kind of response. How interesting...

Regardless, I am full aware it is a BETA. That's why the end of the article concludes that the issues we found could be fixed before release or in patches afterwards.

Some of the issues are glaring though. With release only a month away, can they be fixed in time?

Please - read ...

Since doing the Jump 2008 skydive event, we've now made PS3 Attitude ( http://www.ps3attitude.com) a 100% philanthropic venture. All our revenue goes to charity...

GamesAid are our main cause for this year, and we're happy we could do our bit.

Great to see everyone coming together to raise money...

That makes it even more of a 'will-probably-buy' title than before.

I can tell you from our internal PS3 Attitude Trophy Wars that Kawaii will pick the game up for ONLY this reason!! :-)

Of course, the fact that it looks great, plays well and is entertaining helps too...

It's been really interesting watching people's reactions to this latest PoP game.

Some 'fans' hate the new character, Elika, but she serves a really important purpose. In the 'sands of time' trilogy it was quite common to rewind time only to die again because the rewind wouldn't go back far enough, which was pretty frustrating.

With Elika however, she'll save you if you make a mistake. It's like rewinding time, only smarter and more practical.

The art d...

The exclusivity has nothing to do with it.

Our writer - Danny_D - has already stated elsewhere that he salutes Microsoft for grabbing some exclusivity out of the franchise.

We may be called PS3 Attitude, but we were born out of a need to provide fair and balanced articles. Danny_D believe TRU will tank, and he forms a pretty good (and humour-filled) argument.

Wouldn't you say?

Not everything is about 'this vs. that'...

Uncharted has done 1.8m now rather than 1.4m - but I get your point.

However, if you compare PS3 to PS3, analysts are saying TRU will actually only manage 1.5m across it's whole life, whereas Uncharted is still on course to sell a lifetime amount of 3m copies according to the same analysts...

Even adding in the X360 figures, analysts expect TRU to ship 3.8m across both platforms, which is not much more than Uncharted should manage on the PS3 alone.
