I thought B1943 was a good shooter, but it lacked any real depth for me. Sure, it was a PSN title, so what did I expect?
Well, the truth is that when you compare it to the support, DLC, depth and fun I had with Warhawk (sure, I know that's third-person, but it is a shooter), B1943 pales in comparison.
If only they would announce Starhawk already! :)
I just didn't like Oddworld. My personal opinion. If you like it, good for you. I won't call you names because of your personal opinion.
IN the article, it says "Games with fewer than 200 votes are excluded altogether", so the author fixed that problem already.
Only thing I can't fathom is why Oddworld is No. 2. Also interesting to see that Final Fantasy has so many of the Top 10 slots.
I'd like to see more original titles in the Top 5 or developers might just start trying to fob us off with remakes... don't you think?
So you endorse shovelware?
You're quite happy for people to spend their hard-earned cash on rubbish games, which then taints their entire experience of gaming if done just a few times? All the author is saying is that he wants developers to think about the subject material a little first and come up with a really great game that people really want. Is that so bad?
I love zombie games, but it is time people stopped cashing in on the genre with shovelware titles and to...
I think a monthly subscription option would be good too, but to stay competitive with the likes of LoveFilm, it would need to be £9.99 or less...
I remember reading some reviews that pointed to a terrible soundtrack not helping things. Of course, this article is all about music, so the writer is bound to pick out an example of 'When Soundtracks Go Bad' to highlight his point - FUEL was the sacrificial lamb in this instance.
What other games could he have said had bad soundtracks or music?
You bet - I've seen zDD playing in person and he's a machine... truly awesome.
Is how this further opens up LittleBigPlanet (and other games) to the rest of the family.
You can be the 'hardcore' gamer, and actually get a lot of fun out of collaborative play with someone who has never held a DualShock before - they get to interact in a much more accessible way.
Awesome!
Someone did actually suggest the Sony Finger... :)

...are fairly typical of the marketplace in general these days. Multi-platform owners are more and more common than ever.
Maybe fanboys are that way because they (or most likely, their parents) can only get one console, and therefore they have to justify their purchase by openly trashing all other gaming systems.
Or maybe they're just immature...
On further investigation, this story is just a copy and paste from Gizmodo written on Jan 31 2009 - needs removing by the mods right now...
A nice piece but bringing the Slim into the equation in the introduction is a little off the mark, since the new PS3 Slim doesn't allow Linux to be installed...

Since he has stopped talking for six months, and will give away a free game to you if you catch him chatting on the Internet, one of his staff will have to announce it instead!
Or maybe this six month thing was just a ruse to get six months of focused game development to finish off his new game, whatever that is... ;)
Makes you wonder where the lion's share of the money is going... do the devs get proper recompense, or is it going to the publishers, distributors, retailers and platform holders?
Can't understand how they'd mark it so highly, unless they're just totally ignoring all the shortcomings.
Or maybe there's another reason they gave it high marks?
The trophies load no faster than in 2.70, where they were significantly improved.
The site is a little slow, but stable.

If you think K&L2 is better than KZ2 in any way, shape or form, you are sorely mistaken.
Everyone I know has issues with K&L2 - even if the aiming system is 'nice & sharp', that doesn't excuse everything else that is wrong with it.
Definitely a 'rent' not a 'buy' as far as I'm concerned.
